I guess the latter never entered her head. To have a go at Ian Wright so being a pundit on women’s football says it all. She’s more concerned with him eating into her airtime than looking at what having a prominent pundit such as Wright does to boost the women’s game. He’s been a huge advocate for women’s football and, let’s be honest, there are a lot more men into football than women so it’s only helped raise the profile of the women’s game
Chaser 1919
Its a dumb comment by Aluko given Wrightys involvement is probably encouraging some interest in the women's game from fans of the men's game. She is a shit pundit but is hiding behind other arguments. People should get roles based on merit. The fact that she complains about people not liking women being involved in the men's game and then complaining about men being involved in the women's game speaks volumes about the type of character she is. The BBC seem to have got it right on the MOTD anchors as there's not been uproar about replacing Lineker. All 3 of them are well respected broadcasters and there's been nothing I've seen mentioned regarding gender from the usual dregs of society.. Going by their inability to play the correct competition anthem over their PA system I fully expect all 8,000 seats to be installed facing the car park.

PaddockLad 22515
Aluko hasn’t been jettisoned by broadcasters for any other reason out there than that she, rightly or wrongly, takes people to court . No one wants to turn up for graft thinking that could happen. Football broadcasting strikes me as a club or maybe 3/4 clubs; if you’re in you’re in, and if you’re possibly taking your colleague to court you’re very likely out

I think there are two separate discussion points here. 1) Keeping possession 2) Tactically playing out from the back Every time the ball went back to De Gea high pressing teams would close him down and often get a mistake out of him. This happens to Pope as well which is why he generally just bollocks it recently (clearly been told) and an upgrade would be good in that area soon. I wouldn’t want a team that plays out like a Spurs or Brighton (last year). The juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
