Turned out to be a great decision, absolutely fantastic film which I'm at a bit of a loss to describe. It was really funny but a long way from a comedy, calling it action film doesn't do it justice. Sean Penn is fucking incredible Would thoroughly recommend seeing it in a cinema. Glorious entertainment Just got back from the cinema having seen this. It really is a fantastic movie. You’ve already summed it up pretty well, tbh, Sean Penn was amazing, I also thought the lass who played Perfida was outstanding. Very much recommended

Christmas Tree 6688
One battle after another IMDB 8.2 Dog shit and 2 hours 41 minutes of dog shit. Liam Neeson would have got the job done in 90 minutes. Just a meandering, festering, soul destroying 9,660 seconds.

Dr Gloom 26310
I’ve been off work all week with a crippled back, which is finally improving. The plus side is I watched loads of old classics. Casino, Once upon a time in America, Annie Hall - still awesome. Though Once Upon a time in America is uncomfortably misogynist at times. New stuff: Companion and Heretic are both good. The Roses was a pretty average reboot - preferred the original

A little too left wing for you probably Should win all the oscars but it wont because its so left wing. The original score is amazing, but Del Toro is superb. Obviously each to their own and all that, but this review sums it up for me. And love Del Toro, but he had a tiny bit part and basically just walked around an apartment block

He was 4, had seen the adverts with the funny snowman in it, and begged me to take him. We sat down, it started , and about 20 minutes in he stood up in his seat and whispered in my ear ( loud as fuck, as kids that age do), “Dad when are they going to stop singing? “ The little shite actually managed to doze off part way through - I was jealous as hell. So, aye, hate musicals, went to see Frozen, was a musical.
