Would you want to live there? Apollo 13 is the only good thing Ron Howard's done since Happy Days btw. And as for me - Buffalo Soldiers, really entertaining if a little far fetched. It's basically about a platoon of Marines who go through their training before going out to 'fight' in the first Gulf War. It's really about how they try and cope with the boredom, anxieties about who their lass is shagging, sexual tension and so on whilst slowing going (and driving each other) mental. Their actual 'war' (i.e. the ground war) lasts about 4 days even though they are in the desert for months beforehand. Still not buying Keanu Reeves as a Proper Actor, but I was surprised at how many facial expressions Sandra Bullock can do. Beautifully filmed an' arl.
