Twice we’ve failed to beat League One opponents this season.

But let’s hear more about what a good job Steve Bruce is doing.

And right on cue.

Were in the hat Monday.

We'll very likely beat them in the replay.

We'll be playing 4 games in the fa cup this season.

Rafa engineered a resounding defeat last time we played them.

I was there....which was the worse performance?

We had the chances today to beat them easily. It wasn't Brucie's fault our opportunities were skied.

I can feel your disappointment. Honestly I can feel it.

Onwards and upwards. We'll beat them down there!

Keep the faith. Don't be a turncoat.

I went as the bairn’s football team went together so I was obliged too really. We’re so fucking shit it’s unbelievable. Doesn’t bother me much other than it being a shame the likes of my laddie support a side like that. Almiron was decent once he moved deeper / into the middle then also looked a threat when he played up top near the end. S Longstaff looks a stone overweight, Oxford were unlucky. We probably will beat them down there like but so what?

Nah, he’s just one of those who likes to bang on about how long he’s had his season ticket to anyone within earshot down the pub. Proper soopafan. Obviously his football knowledge is nonpareil too, as his crack on here demonstrates

Almiron put ASM to shame with his decision making. Oxfords last man hauled him down twice in the second half a she was ripping them to bits

Aye well to be fair it’s been a while since I got a ticket off you, possibly a decade

Interest just waned from the locals and the bus company was hiking the prices to stupid levels. So, unless its a comfortable train journey I don't bother. I could still dig out a ticket or two if you needed one.

He’s so much better in the middle. Most of our play went through him but being in a 3 means he still has the licence to push forward. Other good thing is he loves grafting and closing players down so he’s not even remotely a luxury in there when we don’t have the ball.

I'm no more a 'soopafan' than the person sitting next to me. And although I've attended religiously for decades I do sometimes think a few pints in the pub nice and warm with my mates is the better option to sitting freezing cold watching that shit.

I've always thought people who watch football religiously only go once at easter and once near Christmas just for appearances?

I'm more than glad you enjoyed your day in the Toon. You got a great result. I had some good craic with one or two of your lot pre match. I did also have a decent day on the beer a few year ago down at yours but as per, the game was disappointing for us.

But, I do think we'll beat you in the replay. If we don't then good luck!
