Got as far as finally getting one in my basket there, ready to checkout, but it's in the family enclosure and needs a bairn's ticket to go with it.

Re the school thing, it's a bit odd that the school is in Dundee but I don't mind a bit of community outreach from the club, especially if it's disadvantaged kids or whatever. Sooner that than them getting given to local businesses.

A few of the comments under the message said it’s a 20k a year fee paying school. No idea if that’s right. But yes, if they are going to do it, at least do it local.

Can’t send any to schools in the North East of England since Sunderland’s catchment area is too big and they have the stranglehold on free tickets to schools.

In seriousness though, that Dundee one strikes me as some fucker there paying for a box and getting tickets in return

Ah yeah, that's not a good look.  And AH's comment makes sense.  Rich parent has box, and now rich kids have free tickets.  That, depressingly, makes a lot more sense than the club inviting disadvantaged kids to a game.

Schools get in touch with clubs all over the country to take kids, they go to the games, get a tour and a talk on the business side. My son’s school was at matches the last two years.

There's probably a block of tickets they keep for this, and probably have done for years, but some pissypants has got wind and run crying to the NUST.

It is, unfortunately, a posh kids school.

As soon as I saw that I thought I bet it’s a fucking private school. And what do you know? It is

Prepare yourselves, club dilution of support. One of yours wrote summat a few years back about how he hoped your crowd would never turn into what he perceived us to have become on a visit to Etihad (as compared to Maine Rd). What I guess he didn't know was the way the club can operate to exclude hopeful fans, including members, in order to sell inflated packages to, well, anyone. Much discontent abides in sections of our ground, especially those where 3rd party sellers (in association with the club) manage to infiltrate home areas with folk who don't give a shit about the game or, worse, are actually supporting the away team. This, of course is a danger that some unknowing visitors only learn as they suffer injury while being dragged out, but the club create the problem then punish any of our fans who appear out of line.

The RM semi 2 years back was the biggest piss-take when they sold new memberships in the immediate lead up to a huge game and gave the newbies exactly the same chance of a ticket as established members of many years, that was just so, so wrong.

So I watched on tv, but we were fuckin brilliant... Bing Videos

And your son's school presumably is somewhere in Lanarkshire?

Block of seats in the Leazes Upper also in the Platinum Club.

Every game. For years. The Dundee school had a jolly to the Milan game a few years ago.

Steady on, Gemmill will be along to infer you're contrary shortly.

I can’t fault the club for coming down on multiple log in’s. It was nice whilst it lasted, but all these tickets on sites at inflated prices, surely there must be a way to sort that.

It’s easy. Buy up all the tickets for sale and find out who bought them originally then ban them. Job done.

Would that it were true. I'm ticketless just like the rest of the plebs.

Speak for yourself. I got two tickets for Barca.
