Man City just sort of exist as a kind of almost benign superpower in the PL, it's such a weird club. Impossible to dislike them in the same way as the cartel.

It’s almost as though, unlike others, they accept they’re cunts, and they don’t care. And you have to respect them for it

I think they are as despised as much, if not more than us, as they actually managed to encroach on the red coats turf before the ladder was pulled up, I used to dislike them (well their fans and their terminally boring (and most ironic) Where were you when you were shit song they’d trot out at every chance.

Mind you they were one of the few Subbuteo teams I had so maybe I have some hidden soft spot for the cunts.

The thing is, we would be sustainable once we'd invested enough just like every cunt in football history has including the so-called established legacy big 6 whatever clubs.

I fear that Howe will need to work wonders again next season for us to not fall behind again.

It will also be interesting to see if also wants to explore other opportunities if a big job offer does come his way after being let down again.

Have they (owners) thought with Howe working miracles since he's arrived he can do it again? So why spend the brass?

Just a thought.

Oh c'mon, we've been gazumped by members of the "big six", we've tried to spend significant cash but have failed. If the likes of Everton were beating us to players I'd be concerned.

Wheres the offer going to come from? Despite vastly overrating its own players the premier league really underrates its managers unless they've been successful abroad.

City will lose Pep next summer but I'll be astonished if they went for someone like Howe, otherwise who else is there? He's not fancy enough.

It's been my concern for a while. If someone like Chelsea do their usual thing and fire their manager for a pitiful reason and come calling for Howe, I can see him jumping ship.

I can see him going abroad, specifically to a Bundesliga or Eredivisie club.

I could also see him going to Spurs.

Sorry just to check, Howe is going to have his head turned by an Eredivisie club?

Head turned? No, but if he's fed up here I could see him looking for another challenge elsewhere and the Dutch... they're just cool aren't they.

I hope the “fans” don’t turn on Howe when we have a shit start to the season.

Spaniel & Tory boy will no doubt want him out.
