Hope has talked about it before btw. If Howe wants to be the manager rather than the coach (which is seems he does) then that's the nature of the job tbf. This probably explains why he went AWOL over the last couple of months. Sadly, I think this has tainted the legacy he has here. It's like when Andy Cole left. The guy was unbelievable but hes not often mentioned. Anyway he's definitely not going to be staying after all this so we just need to get used to the fact that he's leaving and we might just have to accept that he's going to Liverpool. It is a situation he should've never found himself in again. But most of all and to make things worse, to the point I was making, now he's on the other side of the world to where everything gets done. It's a lot of work in England to be the club's everything man. It's virtually (that word again ) impossible on the opposite side of the world. My main gripe, was: when is he supposed to sleep? It is just one more way our pre-season/transfer season is being disrupted with a coach/manager/DoF who is undoubtedly going to be burning the candle at both ends.
