Fairly minimal that we had to sell £70m worth of talent to avoid a points deduction?

Ok.

Also, which I neglected to mention earlier as I was at work and rather preoccupied by a deadline, this £70m figure you so proudly trump out, your point is rather negated by the fact that Amanda Staveley was at the helm when one of the two players I mentioned was bought in the first place. Making a tidy 24-27m profit. And he’d never even fucking played for us, not even in the stiffs or in a friendly.

Do you really think selling him and a decent young prospect who for us had never made the grade in real terms wasn’t worth the quality we/she brought in? Do you want a full list by the way? Actually no look it up yourself you superior being.

As I said earlier either you are purely on the wind up or truly deluded.

You know if you moved down south the significantly warmer days might help you to be more productive during work hours so you don't end up toiling away in the dead of night. Just a thought.

I want Discord back, please.  This isn't working for me, as there is something wrong with the incoming transfers pages.  :(

Oh, by the way, did someone complain about me posting a link about Isak wanting 300k a week?

No.

It sparked much hearty and good natured discussion.

Keep it up!

I’ve woken up this morning and I’m at a stage where if we lose Isak then we lose a world class goal scorer for a massive fee. This isn’t like Liverpool losing Salah where they’re going to lose a huge number of goals and assists. He can be replaced, maybe not the same quality but, going all Moneyball, the PSR headroom would mean we could improve the overall side if we reinvest wisely. The big issue we have is the timing of all this and the club’s complete inability to complete incoming transfers.

We speculated a lot through the season on whether we'd have to lose a big name to push on, we all just assumed it would be Gordon at the time.

I'll be unhappy if Isak leaves specifically for liverpool, otherwise I'll just be hoping we can use the fee to kick on.

As Keith Downie said, those who were ITK, knew that Isak hasn't been happy about this for a while. This probably explains why he went AWOL over the last couple of months.

Sadly, I think this has tainted the legacy he has here. It's like when Andy Cole left. The guy was unbelievable but hes not often mentioned

Spot on. Fuck the cunt.

If he goes to Liverpool I hope Virgin and Salah get broken legs because their PSR will be fucked with the amount they've spent this summer. With the greedy cunt on the bench throwing a strop because he's not getting service

And yes, I'm still fucked off.

Anyway he's definitely not going to be staying after all this so we just need to get used to the fact that he's leaving and we might just have to accept that he's going to Liverpool.

To say that potentially we were going to be starting the season with Ekitike and Isak last week to this week looking at both of them being at Liverpool, you couldn't make it up and at the same time you couldn't make it more Newcastle

fucking ludicrous situation and a proper fucking headspin.

despite the cunts running the club slyly taking £37 out of thousands of supporters bank accounts with an auto renewal email people didn't see, the cunts whacking an unannounced 16% increase on ticket prices and yet another ballot failure. I was still preparing for a monday spent in front of multiple devices with multi browser and log ins.

bollocks to spending 10 hours on the road and not getting home till 4am if the club have meekly given up and isak's lining up against us for the first home game of the season.

I think you should go, all charged up with your best venom and vitriol superpower and turn the place into a bear-pit whether he's playing for them or not.

There are times I'd be offended by that, but sometimes you've just got to call someone a cunt.

The Geordie Journos (look away now Wykiki) were making this point yesterday, that instead of focusing on a lot of the sponsorship deals that they've yet to touch, they haven't missed a beat when taking more money off the fans.

Did you see yesterday that Sir Brexit is looking at charging Man Utd fans £4k a year just to reserve their seat at OT.

Not a peep from the media about it.  Nope, cant criticise him one bit.
