I doubt very much that Isak will have any interest in going to Saudi.  English clubs are not getting into a bidding war with the Saudis as every one knows most players want to play at the highest level.

£600k a week, do a year then have your pick.

All we need is for Al hilal or whoever to  chuck an offer of about  200 mill in... that's the high water mark, Liverpool are offering 130. They'll pay something in between that...

Tbh players play for money and you’d be a fool to think otherwise.

Often trophies follow but its hardly like “the liverpool pull” isnt the extra £200k a week

If he's embarrassed about going to Saudi for the money, he can always pretend he can't resist the pull of the Club World Cup.

Toney says high.

Toney was a strange one.   Money was the big deal for that lad plus they don't mind if you want to have a little flutter.

Don't think he should be embarrassed at all tbh. It's more than £30m a year, tax free. 3 years of that and he's set for life, as are his family for several generations.

It'll be hilarious if he goes there btw. Almost the perfect solution. We get daft money for him and can move on and reinvest, he's completely out of sight, out of mind, and most importantly it denies Liverpool their man.

Careers advice - Join Newcastle, do the business for them and when the time is right they'll sell you to Saudi to set you up for life.

We got 29m for ASM from Al-Ahli .

As much as we took the piss at times about the bloke he was worth well more than that, we rolled over.

If there is any truth at all in this Isak link well lets just see how that goes. No optimism here.

I’m sure the disloyal cunt’s wallet will bulge but let’s see what we get.

Since he was a small boy he's dreamed about scoring at the Kingdom Arena, and since it opened last year he now has the opportunity to realise those dreams. An opportunity he can't refuse.

Is this Yasir's doing to flush out a bid from the scouse bamps?

Doubt it. He's lost interest (according to our resident expert in losing interest in hobbies).

It's probably not gonna happen, but the other amazing thing if Isak went to Saudi is that it would be one in the eye for the Premier League if their stupid financial rules prompted the best striker in Europe to leave for the Saudi Pro League.

These rules were designed to protect the top 6, not weaken the league as a whole.

If I got offered 6x my salary to go off to Saudi Arabia I’d be off like a shot tbh.

I did 4 years out there - absolutely hated the place. Really hard on the family, but it allowed us to buy a place in Spain with cash & move there.

Would never return to Saudi though.
