Agent had a few from the club come and look at it and Baheng was second viewer and wanted it. If a players in a rental it'll be through an agent but club will pay. Neighbours got a shock when they saw a young black lad feeding my fish 😁 Euphemism?

Craig 12383
30 minutes ago, Gemmill said: Nah that can't be right is it? When a player first arrives, I can see them putting a player up for 3 months until they work out where they want to live, but the club isn't responsible for the long term housing of grown adults, surely? I suspect they club provides their employees with options to subscribe to services (including housing) as part of the their package - in much the same way private healthcare / car leasing / etc. is offered to many people in the corporate world. But any contract for such will be between the individual and the supplier of the service - the club would just facilitate the availability of the service rather than do it all for them. Well the club definitely paid the agent for Baheng rent/bills the lot, could have changed but a reserve/young player was put in a house and I was told "club pay for everything. Craig 12383
I think they likely 'manage' the situation for youth players who in their teens and probably have little concept of providing housing for themselves. A 25 year old established international striker, I very much doubt is being afforded the same level of hypercare.

I think it is a reasonable thing to try and do. I also think, if PIF do want NUFC to grow their brand, it is an actual reasonable use of money. Beckham had a deal with Brill Cream, he shaved his hair off at the time as well. I don't buy into this fair market value either. Anything is worth the money some people are willing to pay at that time. I go into a corner shop and I am willing to pay £1.20 for a bottle of Coke, I am willing to pay £3.20 in a restaurant. I begrudge paying both amounts which I think further validates my point.

Kid Dynamite 9340
Given Isak is still training every day, I find it odd that he would pack up his belongings and live out of a hotel room on the off chance we accept a bid for him

Plus I'd be amazed if he can get from his house to the training ground without some knacker catching him for their YouTube channel, and that hasn't happened. I wouldn't be surprised if he was abroad somewhere.

Chaser 1919
So if that is Isaks rental, he's definitely kicked his last ball for us then? All sounds a bit presumptious given we have had no bid yet. Has he refused to play until sold?

Whenever I tell my kids that I’ve just seen a video of Adam Pearson speculating on John Ruddy’s favourite flavour of crisps, I never give you any credit whatsoever. I just take all the plaudits/eye rolls for myself.
