110 that absolute fucking chancers

120 has been bandied about, even by their media fanboys for the last two weeks and they come in UNDER that?

They ought to be fucking embarassed.

Probably deliberately low-balling us to take the piss out of us!

Watkins and Wissa both seems unwise considering their ages. One of that pair with a younger striker coming in from further afield would be ideal IMO. Gives the younger lad time to settle while you have a ready made PL striker up top

Ovulation?

Interesting autocorrect for Osula there. :D

Watkins still seems on the radar for Man u.

Given that we're only 2 weeks away from the start of the season that opening bid suggests to me that this deals not gunna happen, Liverpool know we're not selling at that price or even dignifying it with a negotiation. Whats the point?

The fact we've rejected it out of hand fucks me off mind considering it seems to take selling clubs days to get back to us on offers.

Yeah we could have deliberated upon it until Tuesday.

Watkins still looked quality to me last season.

He's indiscriminately brilliant. As good as anyone on his day. I think he averages that about once a month though. Did his goals shoot Villa to a great run in the champions league and a top 5 finish?... not quite... Isak did though... well... Obviously not the champions league bit but I think a fit Isak is a lot more consistent...

Well aye, obviously I'd rather have Isak, but I'm talking about if he goes. Whoever comes in, we're taking a backwards step player for player. We can end up stronger as a squad but our starting 11 is weakened.

Reject their offer and put our asking price up to £160m via the few friends in the media we have.

Suggestion is they offered £55m up front with the remainder 12 months from now.

PSR issues you say? Get fucked, Liverpool!

Btw, that bedsheet at the training ground, is it just me, or does "pure rat" as a term not strike you as "unlocal", Isak is a rat, scans, but "pure rat" 🤷‍♂️

Rat is the part that makes no sense. West End kids called everything pure something or other back in my day.

I reckon Watkins would score a hatful with supply from Elanga, Gordon, Barnes, Murphy etc.

I get the concerns about the age but he'd be a short term fix.

30 years ago we bought a fella called Ferdinand who was pushing 30 as a replacement for a fella called Cole who was 24 at the time. The replacement didn't do too bad.

I forgot they bought Frimpong and Kerkez as well.  Tbf that line up is fucking frightening - so in the interest of fairness they should have to pay £200m for Isak.

I'm disappointed in Isak, he's more or less told the senior players (Bruno, Big Joe etc) to sod off when they told him to stay. I doubt we'll see him on the training ground with the main squad again. If he has the balls to turn up Eddie should shout him over &;say " Alex you don't train with the lads now. Get over there with the kids"
