Think it all depends if a replacement is being actively pursued. That deal won't happen till we've played them though... We need to absolutely rinse them this summer or invite a bidding war next between the handful of big european clubs who will be looking for a striker. The ball is essentially in their court, we've been fairly clear on his price from the outset and instead of paying they've unsettled the player and paid about a billion "journalists" to brief constantly about it, this whole "wont come in unless newcastle open the doors" scthick is beyond pathetic. I think Isak is probably intelligent enough to realise he’s been fucked over by Liverpool too. But he’s acted in a way that makes it difficult to have any sort of future here too so he seems to be doubling down and hoping we crack.
