I don't know what to make of it anymore. A mate of mine is was convinced for the entire second half the season that Isak's head had been turned. I refused to believe it citing interviews like that. He's either a really good actor, or his agent has turned him off us. I still wonder if the transfer issues played a part in all of this. I just don't get it.

Was listening to 'Remember My Name' earlier. the opening verse ... he'd do well to take the lyrics on board.

If I was wanting of anymore I’d be as greedy as those men on the hill
But I remain forlorn In the memory of what once was
Chasing a cross in from the wing Our boy’s a whippet, he’s faster than anything
Remember the pride that we felt For the two of us made him ourselves

He's on the world stage because of us. And he's become an absolute greedy cunt.

People posting these interviews followed by "what's changed?!"

Well Liverpool told him they wanted him. That's what's changed, it's no more complicated than that. More money, more chance of winning something. I totally understand him wanting to leave, it's the way he's going about it that I can't get away with.

I don't think his head was turned until the summer. I think the second half of the season he was definitely carrying an injury. His thigh was heavily strapped up.

I think Liverpool knew Diaz & Nunez were on the way - I think that's part of the reason they persuaded Salah to do a U-turn. The tragic loss of Jota elevated their need to get into the striker market - Isak was clearly someone of interest and I think that precipitated conversations between club and agent. No doubt they observed the MGW saga and face-palmed somewhat.

Given the couple pressers he did not 5 months ago where he expressed his satisfaction at being here, it's evident someone has been in his ear - Liverpool FC are undoubtedly complicit IMO.

Yeah, exactly.

If you want to go then submit a transfer request - but be prepared to forfeit bonuses & incentives if you're going to do so. If you're not prepared to forfeit them, then stick with it. All this mention of 'Gentlemen's agreement'. Hardly fucking gentlemanly conduct he and his agent are exhibiting.

It's not what he's doing, it's the way he's going about it that's fucking me off. And I'm sure his current teammates feel absolutely shat on.

There is a similar situation in Germany with Woltemade. Baxern turned his head and started negotiations with an offer way below the fee Stuttgart are expecting. It’s going on gor several weeks now. Stuttgart have issued an ultimatum to find a solution and come in with a suitable offer in the next couple if days or any deal is off.

but it isn't just that though is it?

fucking hell, I'm aware things are different in this age of social media, twitter influencers and all that bollocks, but this is getting fucking hysterical, unprecedented even?

a cartel club has made an offer for a player from little old newcastle who may potentially be on the verge of becoming a threat and we had the audacity to turn it down.

they've practically mobilised the fucking tanks man and they've got no intentions of slowing down till we surrender.

they've got the cunt hiding in a skip somewhere now outside an Italian restaurant too scared to come out because of all the scary, unreasonable geordies.

it's fucking pathetic, likewise our owners if they give in to this shite.

the last couple of weeks has had a fluctuating affect on my opinion mind, I'll give it that. I was probably one of the more sympathetic and philosophical amongst us regarding isak initially on account of being hugely critical of the shit show running the club, be it executives, recruitment, transfer windows, ticketing etc etc..

well not anymore, isak is a fucking repulsive, skinny thindercunt. much like ashley he's gone about fucking with something that's been dear to me since I was about 5, except he's managed to condense it in to a few weeks.

I no longer want the cumt to suffer a compound fracture of both femurs, I hope he gets hit with a tackle just under the adam's apple and it snaps his fucking spinal column.

the piece of fucking scum.

Amidst this smorgasbord of delights, I particularly enjoyed this accidental tautology.

Good luck with that Alex. You're officially worth at least £110m. Refuse to play and you're in breach of contract so we simply sue the cunt for his transfer value.

I was thinking of what Chelsea did to Mutu when he was done for drugs.

Most of the pundits are seeing it the same way. Isak and his entourage have taken things several steps too far. It's saying something as well when the reasonable Liverpool fans out there are starting to form the opinion he's bad news.

Jamie Carragh-phlem will no doubt be supportive of them signing him, but Neville is quite firmly in the Newcastle have to stand their ground camp

I would hope he would take the same stance if it was ManU he wanted to join.
