Just 5 months ago. When allegedly he was desperate to leave. Something doesn’t add up.

Lionel Ritchie What GIF

I never knew Jerry Seinfeld was a Lionel Richie backing singer. Every day is a school day.

yup, the evidence against the narrative liverpool and isak's camp are trying to spin via ornstein and romano is pretty damning.

- social media posts such as this

- playing a big part in the new kit launch videos

- the interview he gave at a sweden international camp toward the end of last season:

"There's not much to say, really. I've commented on my situation and my security in Newcastle several times.

"it's been written how much love the city and the club, how well I feel there. I'm not thinking about the future"

"l just want to perform for Newcastle. Now we won the cup, but we want to finish strong and reach the Champions League games. That's where my focus lies."

If he doesn't show for the PFA gala this evening when he's shortlisted for the Players Player then I reckon it's pretting damning. If consider your conduct above board, why would you boycott the awards ceremony hosted by the players union?

His conduct is already up for widespread criticism, I think he'll lose any remaining support he retained from those in the professional game if he follows through on this stunt.

How to irretrievably damage your entire career in 5 weeks.

He will avoid it as he won't want all the media stuff.  Which IMO is of his own making.

This like going over your texts from an ex.

He prefers the bit on the side now. Time to move on.

that’s fine. I want the cunt gone. But the free Isak cunts online are talking shit. There is no evidence to suggest that Isak wanted out before liberpool made their move, otner then the shite liberpool and Isak’s team are leaking.

if he did feel that way the cunt should have handed in a transfer request.

I liked that post, couldn't fucking understand half of it, but I got the gist.

I'm still not convinced signing Isak was their target and instead, destabilising NUFC was.

I don't think I'm alone in that view and that's why I think Monday night will be a cauldron on a level I've not witnessed before.

They may have a thought of signing him on the cheap but this is/was the main purpose for me. I'm still not convinced they wanted Ekitike - they didn't "show up"  until we'd already put a lot of work in and as I said before it was after Eddie said he wasn't a replacement.

Would Isak not get in their team?

He'd get in yours. Be like having Darren Bent. Imagine that? A player worth racially abusing again.

Yep, I think you've a point. I think we may have forced their hand into Ekitike when we made it clear we wanted him to play alongside Isak.
