Ando on the radio yesterday said Isak should have come out weeks ago and said something even if it was he wanted to leave. Well here we are.

Is it weeks ago like? Did my Time Machine work?

This but I suppose it depends on how the club sees the situation concerning the impact on our reputation too.

Ideally though yes, we don't respond and just keep fining him until he crawls back looking for a resolution.

What can we say that the media and schills won't twist out of context? Isak pathetically to claim we are controlling the narrative? Better to say nowt. Isak has just made himself look ridiculous. Come on then, let's see the evidence of these reneged promises, because we have your signed name on the contracts you doss cunt.

I suspect he’ll need to stay out of the area for his own safety. What a silly boy he has been.

Which in itself is madness. We all criticised Evertons mouth breathers when they did it to Gordon. Isak has been an absolute wanker over this whole situation but he's not committed any heinous crime which should result in him having his limbs separated. Football is a passionate sport but there still needs to be a line in the sand which stops short of threats of violence.

On the pitch is a different story.

If he was on the verge of going elsewhere or there's a realistic chance he's going in the next few weeks, he's keeping his mouth shut.

He's not going anywhere. PIF pulling rank & he's throwing an almighty tantrum.

yeah, looks that way. He already went nuclear going on strike. I don’t know what you call this but he’s fucked himself. I sense we’re about to find out how serious the Saudis are

I'd be sorely tempted to respond with "Newcastle United can confirm that they have not received a transfer request from Alexander Isak" and leave it there.

All I want is the cunt out but not to the dippers. Get him out of the Prem to any other team. Barca for £90m even.

Barca don’t have the money. Madrid have Mbappe who plays there. I’d love PSG to swoop in late and take him. Other than that only Saudi teams can afford him…and Man Utd if they sack a few more dinner ladies.

The club doesn't seem to be getting any bad press by not filling the void ironically so it would seem that the best reply to this would be to be to ignore it again. He's saying the same things as has already been said through his mouthpieces, he's just now taken the opportunity to release it himself. I'm sure he'll be expected in for training, and I'm amazed that a public statement like this doesn't constitute as offering an official transfer request.

The most dignified response is usually silence. However I’d be supportive of a simple:

”Alexander Isak remains under contract to Newcastle United until July 2028. The club has no further comment to make.”

I want him to remain under contract for the full 3 years, but never set foot in the city again. We need to leave this cunt in limbo.

I’m absolutely raging. Mrs Craig is sat here saying “don’t take it out on me…”

Craig is your surname? Or are you Craig Craig?

As pointed out, why didn't you get your agents to put in a release clause Isak? If it's not all about the money, where's your transfer request?

If the media had anything about them they’d dig for details of these so called promises that were made and broken.

Speak up, cunt.

BBC Sport understands Isak believed he would be allowed to leave Newcastle if a big club came in for him and offered the right price.

If that’s the case then it’s Liverpool he wants to aim his anger at.

This statement is either timed to prepare the field for another Liverpool bid or timed to destabilise us prior to our game at the weekend. Or both.

Using the PFA event as a smokescreen. It has nothing to do with this statement. Way to steal the spotlight from his colleagues award ceremony though.

I think it’s a statement designed for this weekend’s game and/or Liverpool’s next bid.

We’re pushing hard for Wissa. If we sign him that’s when we’d see another bid, if it’s coming at all. Liverpool and Isak’s agent and Isak himself are in cahoots to drive the media narrative that we simply must sell him.

Over and above that Isak is essentially cooperating with Liverpool to try and win games of football. What a cunt.

He’s also actively trying to drive supporter disdain to the same ends. Fine. We hate you. Well done. I’d still take the stupid cunt for his goals. I’m not letting pride get in the way. This isn’t “bazball” the football version. There’s no moral high ground here. I want us to win.

Great post and great point. Forget the greed, this is actually treachery at this stage.

It's difficult to stay calm and rational in this. Thankfully that's exactly what Howe and the club seem to be doing one our behalf. Imagine if we were at the helm right now.

Fuck knows what Yassir thinks but it won't be complimentary about his former favourite player.

I heard he’s ordered zip ties, bin bags and a bone saw on his prime account. More as I get it….
