They have exciting players & play good football tbh.

This current iteration of Man City play absolutely horrific football at times.

Bear with me here, it’s going to get heavy.

Some of you might have seen Dean Henderson dedicate the win yesterday to his dad who passed away at the beginning of the season. My dad died on 16 March at 3pm - an hour and a half before we played our cup final. I cried buckets yesterday for the celebrations I didn’t get to have when we won. As we sat with him before he died I joked at how shit his timing was and if he was going to fuck off and leave us he could at least go and have a word with Sir Bobby and sort a win out.  I still haven’t watched our game and don’t even know if it’s still available anywhere. I’m over the moon for Palace fans - this is how football is meant to feel. Everything I couldn’t let myself feel on cup final day came out and it did me the world of good.

Anyway, back to calling each other cunts please. As it should be..

That’s awful. I’m so sorry for your loss, and what awful timing. Glad you were able to enjoy the match yesterday. I was pleased for Palace too - they’re my local PL club and you can’t beat an underdog story

Sort to hear Catmag.

yeah, im glad Palace won as well. The shear joy of that win meant so much more to their fans than  Man City.

I genuinely hope we don’t ever take winning things for granted.

Cath, really sorry to hear about your dad. Awful news.

And I don't know if you actually wanted to watch our match, but here it is in full on YouTube in case you ever did.

Thank you. And I’ll definitely watch it 🙂 We left the hospital just as the game was kicking off and went back to mam’s. I wouldn’t let my brother put the match on cos I felt like we’d fuck it up. He switched it on with minutes to go and Liverpool immediately scored. I’ve never seen anyone shit himself and turn a telly off quicker

Sorry to hear that Cath. Good that you could still have a joke with him at the end. 🙂

He was in critical care on a ventilator so I’ve no idea if he could hear us but I feel like he could. I told him it was a good job he couldn’t see the SOL out of the window like we could…

Given how all the club matches at Wembley have gone this season, I'm praying Sheffield United get the west end of Wembley next Saturday.

I think we probably want Forest to win here, don't we? Keeps them interested for the final game v Chelsea.

I was thinking a draw so one less team who could finish above us if we potentially mess things up

 Lads we need to stop thinking like this. We're third, with a chance to go second today and we're worrying about the team in SEVENTH.

The threat to us is Man City, Chelsea and Villa, not Forest.

Yeah we need Forest to have reason to really go for Chelsea next weekend. That won’t happen with just a draw.

That prompted me to reply. I don't know a single City fan that takes trophies for granted.

Yes it will have meant more to their fans as its their first ever trophy but please don't accuse us of taking it for granted.

Yesterday was more important than CL qualification, we're not Arsenal targeting CL qualification every season then switching off.

Mostly recovered from the disappointment of yesterday.

I was fuming at Hendersons handball not getting a red but calmed down now.

Nothing will convince me that that wasn't a red. Even Ian Wright said it was a red and that he (Wright) would have scored if that was him.

Not sure why they'd have an ex Palace player in Darren Cann as VAR Assistant.

He played in the Palace youth team as a striker alongside Ian Wright.

But it's done now.

I like Palace and live near them.

Not met many of my Palace friends or neighbour yet.

Although 1 called up and gave it large over the phone.

Give her the benefit of the doubt for being a bad winner as it's new to her.

For comparison, when we won the FA Cup in 2011 i got pizza in for everyone in the office the next working day.

I did the same when we won the league in 2012 and a few times  after.

It was to make up for putting up with me going on about City all the time.

A shame for Palace as it takes the shine off it for them imo.

Not that they'll care obviously. I wouldn't.

Their replacement keeper may have saved the penalty and it might have stayed 1-0.

We'll never know,

Only one result matters to me now. The 115.

oh and good luck v Arsenal later,
