Billy Whitehurst 1085
Brilliant for Palace that. First ever trophy, you have to be thrilled for them. Nice to see the trophies being spread around a bit too. Would love us to get Guehi, he was quality (Muniz and Eze too).

Tom 14483
No idea but he’s always there when they win. Was I fuck watching the trophy celebrations. Took the dogs out
Kid Dynamite 8096
I'm over the moon for Palace. Some good players and their manager seems canny. The more non "big 6" teams that pick up a trophy the better. Couldn't have picked 2 better clubs to win cups this season tbh
Tom 14483
They have exciting players & play good football tbh. This current iteration of Man City play absolutely horrific football at times.

Toonpack 12516 Posted Saturday at 17:00 Share Posted Saturday at 17:00 Just watched Aberdeen beat Celtic on penalties, no saving any of them, but that Kasper Schmeichel is as big a worky cunt as his fatha. Soft spot for the sheepshaggers as worked up there for 8 years.
Tom 14483 Posted Saturday at 17:01 Share Posted Saturday at 17:01 Tbh I think anyone in Scotland winning a trophy outside of the old firm doyles is a good thing.

Gemmill 53775 Posted Monday at 03:53 Share Posted Monday at 03:53 I'd assume Forest won't be anywhere near CL next year. Difficult to imagine Wood having another season like he's had, and it looks like they might lose Gibbs-White this summer. I assume they've still got PSR issues as well. Wonder whether we might be sniffing around Elanga again if they do have a PSR hole to fill.

It's difficult to see them overachieving like they did this year, especially with the additional load of European games. Their owner might be more interested in throwing everything at the Europa League. The toughest competition could be Villa with their Europa specialist count Unai at the helm.

I'd be wary of pretty much any of their players apart from Gibbs-White, they regressed to their level second half of the season really. 2nd for the first half of the season, 11th for the second half. There are good players there but like you said, everything was going in for Wood, they were much tighter at the back until they weren't etc.

They've run an absolutely massive 15 points ahead of expectation. Looks like Bournemouth might be the ones to watch next season from the chasing pack. wykikitoon 24225 Posted Monday at 08:16 Share Posted Monday at 08:16 I don't think they are in any PSR trouble. Unless City offer daft money for MGW I would like to see him stay there for another season. A few additions and they could be a comfortbale mid table club. I like nuno and would rather see them in the PL than some others.

wykikitoon 24225 Posted Monday at 08:44 Share Posted Monday at 08:44 Just watching MotD and Martinez red the stupid daft cunt. But Diallo going up to the ref and telling him to send him off. Shouldn't he have been booked for that?
