Dr Gloom 24539 Posted Sunday at 17:47 Share Posted Sunday at 17:47 Back by popular demand and hopefully with some cup final thread-starting energy. 3-0 to us 5 4
Rayvin 6648 Posted Sunday at 17:49 Share Posted Sunday at 17:49 We've got this one. Moyes will park the bus as he'll know what's ahead of him, so we can expect counter attacks, but in the end we should be able to handle it.
Gemmill 53574 Posted Sunday at 17:51 Share Posted Sunday at 17:51 Everton can't finished higher than 13th. I'd be amazed if they give even the remotest of fucks next week. I'd love an early goal though cos the longer it goes on, and if results start going the wrong way elsewhere, the nerves transfer to the pitch. Hopefully just a regulation win, 2 nil by half time, and just coast the second half.
Renton 24797 Posted Sunday at 18:05 Share Posted Sunday at 18:05 This result will make or break my bank holiday. I'm still expecting a good bank holiday.
Holden McGroin 8200 Posted Sunday at 18:08 Share Posted Sunday at 18:08 Is Trippier definitely out ? we are going to have to go with 4 at the back v these - which means Krafu will have to play.

aimaad22 5081 Posted Sunday at 19:12 Share Posted Sunday at 19:12 We need to come roaring out the blocks and score two within 30 minutes. Job done. We've been poor in second halves lately with the obvious energy issues so don't want to leave it till then.
Kid Dynamite 8069 Posted Sunday at 19:21 Share Posted Sunday at 19:21 I suspect Isak could have played today with some painkillers. Made sense to rest him for the more winnable game. I expect him to play, and hopefully Joe too. It's worth the risk

Isegrim 10812 Posted Sunday at 20:41 Share Posted Sunday at 20:41 1-0 Pickford own goal. Will become a persona non grata on Wearside.
Andrew 5677 Posted Sunday at 20:51 Share Posted Sunday at 20:51 Easy this, we're better than they are, our heads will be in the game. They've nothing to play for they can't even move up or down a spot in the table, they've done their big farewell to goodison, season is over. 3-

Gemmill 53574 Posted Monday at 06:33 Share Posted Monday at 06:33 (edited) Watching Howe's press conference from after yesterday's match, he says Isak didn't feel anything during training but that he felt tightness in the groin after training. Said he doesn't think it's a surgery thing but they need to find a way for him to strengthen that area so he stops having the issue. Anyway, HOPEFULLY that doesn't sound like something that should rule him out of next weekend. One of the journalists* invited him to "guarantee" that the only colours Isak will be playing in next season will be the black and white, which obviously Howe declined to do. Easy way to drum up a headline (Howe REFUSES to guarantee etc) although it means nowt, it was just a bloke using his brain. *I thought the journalist had introduced himself as Martin Hardy, but Hope says it was one of the Arsenal following journalists. Which makes sense cos he'll be trying to guarantee himself some clicks from the response. Edited Monday at 06:39 by Gemmill

He’ll be distracted by his new pub he’s opening in Pennywell, The Thalidomide Arms. It’s already been done for short measures. Anyway, regarding the thread starter, it’s good to see the Return of The King, especially as we welcome Gollum Moyes. I can’t see anything but a resounding 5-0 for us.

Dr Gloom 24539
I’ve got a hunch that Isak, Joelinton and Trippier might all play on Sunday. They’re all carrying niggles rather than serious injuries and Howe has been holding them back for the game where everything is on the line. Big Joe apparently had an injection. You don’t do that to a player whose season is over 4-3-3, score the goals to win the game in the first half, calm the crowd down then a second half party in the bank holiday sunshine. 3-0 to us
Kid Dynamite 8069
I didn't expect us to turn up for the cup final and we fucking mullered Liverpool. Everton aren't as good as Liverpool either, so as long as we turn up with the right mindset and in the front foot, we'll be reet. (If Wilson starts up front it will be a long afternoon however)
aimaad22 5081
If Isak is crocked I really hope we go with Gordon up front. Wilson has become worse than useless, sad that really because he's been a great servant and I wish he'd leave us in better form but it is what it is.
