I think it was an enjoyable performance from us. Absolutely solid against what will likely be another strong year for Villa. Shame we couldn't convert the chances we had but you could always see we had a plan. Agree on Osula, would have liked to see him get another 10 minutes at least.

I'm tempted to agree. Start with Osula central and Gordon on the left. Can then bring Barnes on for Osula and switch Gordon into the middle. Get Osula to be as physical as he can with their defenders.

Agree with all of this. We were the better side all game apart from a 10-15 minute spell at the start of the second half. We looked great at times. The one obvious weakness was the lack of a proper CF. Should have introduced Osula much sooner after the sending off. I get the reluctance to use him too much given how raw he is but he’s a handful and at least it’s his proper position. 
 

Gutted Elanga fluffed that chance. I thought it might be a John Dahl Thomason moment but he grew into the game and looked lively at times.

I sympathise with Eddie in that we were in control, we had pace and small changes can suddenly mean gaps appear for the opposition, especially for a team who usually beat us when at home. Murphy deserves game time as does Miley.
