Obviously upfront is the worry. Whenever I see Gordon play up front, he always seems to end up in his normal position and trying to cut across the box and shoot. No doubt he’ll run his socks off but can’t make up for that natural instinct and positioning strikers have.

 

That all said, I trust Eddie has a cunning plan.

villa massively exposed our lack of pace in defence last time we played them at their place - watkins had trippier and schar on toast. i wouldn't mind seeing those two full backs start for that reason, but i don't think it'll happen
