  1. Past hour
  2. Just be fucking sorry like the rest of us… Did you expect a phone call!
  3. Six in a row is a mackem comfort blanket construct, it's a straw they clutch on to. It means nothing. They have no place at the table upon which we feast. Fuck em.
  4. It was your Mam and that’s not what she got in her face
  5. I'd rather have 100 PL footballers in comas than see one Newcastle goal wrongly ruled out because of the linesman going too early with his flag.
  6. I'm unsure whether you were seeing the band or having a bit of hanky panky with Toonpack.
  7. Honestly though, I fucking love Italy. What a country.
  8. Fucked over Brighton and us and then got sacked by Jim Rat King. I assume his reputation has been torched by his own behaviour, but if I were the FA I would view him as a short term appointment
  9. Sounds like I’m in the minority here but I’d welcome the return of derby day. I’m mates with some Sunderland fans and it’ll be nice to consign the six in a row nonsense to history. If they are lucky enough to be promoted, they’re going to struggle just as much as the recently promoted teams. The gulf between the championship and PL has never been bigger because of PSR. Only Forest in recent years have managed it and they only did it by flirting with relegation after a points deduction. Bring it on. It’s unlikely to end well for them, whatever happens
  10. Hm. Early 20th century imperial conflict geography clearly not a strong point
  11. As Gemmill's post states, no it's not. 😛
  12. I have no doubt they'll spawn it, the cunts even got promoted when they didn't win the playoffs (Swindon bollocks) they were the turd that wouldn't flush for years and years of late goal lifesavers. They can fuck off, they don't deserve the financial injection the Prem would bring.
  13. I’ve no issue with the lino, it’s the ruling. It’s fucking stupid.
  14. The benefit is fewer attacks are stopped incorrectly. Even with the rule in place, you still see linesman occasionally raise their flag incorrectly or raise their flag at the end of the passage of play and be wrong.
  15. Yeah I don’t blame the lino, she was simple applying the rules. Fucking stupid rule though. Don’t see hrs benefit aside from winding people up.
  16. My dad was saying he saw CT walking round the estate this morning, chewing on his fingernails and muttering about "... the threat of Wilson Isidor..." and "Luke 'the wall' O'Nien". My dad tried to approach but he just got "DANIEL FUCKING BALLARD" screamed in his face.
  17. Given the season they’ve had it’ll be a travesty if Sheff Utd don’t make it. Reminds me of the only season when we did take part in the playoffs though, be just like Sunderland to spawn it into the top league.
  18. You can stick your derby up your arse sideways, fucking hated everything about it since 1979 and the cunt Rowell hat-trick, felt a bit rough in the morning but went anyway, got tonsillitis missed next game (beat Charlton 5-3 ffs). That said times have changed, they are turbo-shit and we're anything but.
  19. We picked up 18 points from the promoted teams this season. They’re just not very good and I don’t see Sheffield United or Sunderland bucking the trend. Local rivalry or not
  20. Final week at working in Broadmoor and I cannot wait to fuck off.
  21. Today
  22. Maybe when you have the mindset that we won't pick up another point from the middle of April onwards. Your nerves must be completely shot.
  23. Fuck that. We're at the stage where every match we have something to play for whoever its against. I don't need or want the stress of a derby with those troglodytes.
  24. I’ll let this ride with you being new to football. But every Tyne Wear derby is nerve jangling. Derby’s can so often be a complete leveller regardless of who has the “better” team.
  25. I don't blame the rule, just as much chance of a freak injury like that in any phase of play, players clatter posts fairly often, amazing there's not more bad ones tbh. Just one of those things sadly.
