  1. Past hour
  2. Disagree that it invalidates the point.
  3. If players only got hurt when play possibly should've been stopped you'd have a point.
  4. Their massive cash boost is already committed on signing that French lad that spent most of the time injured since he joined on loan. Mackems at work are desperate to not come up because they are absolutely convinced they'll go back down having broken Derby's point record. On that basis - I wish them all the luck in the world in the playoff final
  5. If they get promoted they will get a massive cash boost, maybe even become attractive to a rich buyer. Fuck them, a decade in the wilderness is 100 times too short a time. Can't believe what I'm hearing from some posters here.
  6. And if its blatantly offside why did the player(s) still carry on resulting in the injury?
  7. And your logic only holds because it’s not involving a Newcastle player. if that was Isak in hospital now there’s no way all of you would have the attitude “tough shit, it’s one of them things”
  8. Your logic only holds if players only clatter posts/get hurt when there's an offside not given. Offside or not, foul or not, players get hurt.
  9. Craig "IT'S A POTENTIAL DEATH TRAP" Hayton
  10. I’d rather have 100 PL goals chalked off than see one Newcastle player hospitalised because of the linesman going too late with his flag.
  11. In any of you watched that game, you’ll know the offside was blindingly obvious. That’s the point I’m making. When it’s too close to call, let the phase play out. But everyone in the stadium knew it was offside. The commentators even said “the flag will go up here”. Stupid rule. As Alex says there’s no perfect solution and they really need to see what can be achieved with AI / semiautomation.
  12. We could have the VAR stop play for the referee to review if it would have been correct to flag
  13. I don't agree. Immigration is a great example. Most people who want immigration to go down understand only one side of that issue. They do not understand for instance that social care will be decimated, that pensions will be threatened, that certain sectors will struggle with impacts felt throughout the economy. Most of them don't even understand that immigration is a net positive on the economy. People sort of drift through life thinking that governments make these choices out of some Marxist agenda, whereas in reality the choice to permit immigration is a response to an economic need. I am yet to see an anti immigration voter properly contend with both sides of that issue, and thats what I mean when I say people don't understand these issues as fully as they'd need to in order to make an informed decision. I debate with the fuckers day in, day out. I can see it.
  14. Allardyce that must have been embarrassing
  15. Looks like we need a new rule for how far offside a player needs to be to flag immediately. It’s the only way.
  16. Today
  17. These fucking wankers bragging about how many cats they've got when I'm down to zero.
  18. I really couldn't give a fuck if I never see another derby again. I've loved some of them, I've seen more victories than defeats but these days I'd be just as worried they put one of ours out for a season than anything else they do with the actual football and if they hit lucky in staying up I'd hate to see them given the chance to improve. Also you'd see them being really not bothered at all about the Saudi club during a derby, the cunts had a complete meltdown about us being given a whole end and a shit football ground bar being given over to us, they'd be no bother at all and would treat it as though they were playing Charlton Athletic or Bristol Rovers I'm sure.
  19. Aye, it’ll be nice to see them dust off Kevin Ball again about 2 months in, until they appoint some other fucker nobody has heard off.
  20. It really pissed me off when Derby ruined the Mackems' place in football infamy by breaking the record the cunts themselves had had the decency to teduce further and I for one would relish them having the opportunity to reclaim their accolade.
