"Classier" gets me every time - they genuinely believe it as well.
-
How would they know what a CL away game was like?
-
Aye, worryingly authoritarian.
-
You see what you want to see, I'm not here to persuade you. I'm just explaining why they did it. As for the Tesla thing, both were political acts of criminal damage. I could see the UK calling this sabotage, but not terrorism. Terrorism is a fucking stupid thing to call it - but it does give the government the largest number of options to silence people.

The linked article doesn't really offer any proof the RAF are launching these flights for any other reasons than the stated purpose of hostage location. If the implication is that the RAF are involved in genocidal activity I hope that comes out one day if it's true. Think there is quite a difference between setting alight a Tesla and breaking into MoD land as well, but again I don't know what's really happened.

I'm struggling to handle all the back and forth on this Genuinely will be relieved when July 1st hits.

Aye, sounds like we've moved onto Elanga as our RW choice. We are apparently in talks for both Trafford and Joao Pedro. Those 3 would be a mint 3/4 of a window, and we would only need a CB after that

I'm aware of the Israeli casualties, I resent the entire situation for civilians on both sides - consequently I watch the damage on both sides. I just mean Israel have announced they've knocked out all 99% of all long range missiles within the last day or so, meaning they should be approaching some semblance of safety. More importantly Trump has decided to overlook Iran's counterattack and is walking towards peace - so it seems DJT is the great peacemaker of our time, a shining beacon of Western civilisation's values as he disarms a rogue state of religious fanatics with aspirations of genocide of their nuclear weapons, seemingly calming their fanaticism at the same time. By the metric we're judging this situation on, it's a huge win for him.

We're flying surveillance to support Israeli bombardment - hence hitting the RAF. No one voted for it, but we're doing it. https://www.declassifieduk.org/britain-sent-over-500-spy-flights-to-gaza/ I mean I don't actually agree with it either for what it's worth but if this is terrorism then so is destroying Tesla - seems Starmer agrees with Trump.

Apparently Man Utd have gone back to Brentford with an improved bid of £60m for Bryan

Well, the article says they were violent and I heard on the radio they had caused millions of pounds of damage? I'm not necessarily believing this or defending them being put on the banned list. But what I would say is why were they targeting the RAF? Have the RAF been bombing Gaza? There's ways of protesting without making yourselves a national security threat. I also simply don't accept the UK is culpable for the horrendous situation in Gaza. Realistically, what can the government do? I guess be more condemnatory but honestly don't see that doing any good.

They hit a hospital a few days back. Iranian strikes already killed 24 Israelis and injured many more. It’s something they are used to. My family have all cowered in shelters over the years at various times. Air raid sirens are common in Israel, particularly in Haifa in the north, which has been targeted by Hezbollah rockets, and the desert area east of Gaza, where Hamas used to fire its rockets into. I have family in both areas. You’re right that Iran will suffer far greater casualties. They don’t have an iron dome defence system and Israel took out a lot of its antiaircraft defences.
-
They don’t want their strikers bombing forward for sure.

Is he playing golf?

Then he sees geordie shore and joins Chelsea instead.

Hasn't iran qualified for the WC in USA next year?
-
I really hope your family are going to be ok man - for what it's worth I don't think there's really any chance of serious casualties on the Israeli side, I was reading that the Iranian long range capabilities have been largely knocked out now - besides which they don't seem to be going for civilian targets. Hopefully everyone backs down since it looks like America achieved what they wanted. It's more the West I'm concerned about at this point, we've shown time and time again how untrustworthy and cynical we are - many lives in Trump's hands.

Israel has played a terrible hand in this. They’re the aggressor in this case. Netanyahu only managed to cling to power, after several elections failed to produce a governing majority., by forming a coalition of all the worst fringe politicians in the country. Imagine if we were governed by Reform and the English Defence League. It’s that bad. Worse actually because he’s got the religious fundamentalists propping him up too - and they really do believe in a one state solution, ethnic cleansing in other words. These nutters do not speak for the majority of Israelis, just as the Iranian regime don’t speak for all Iranians. My family in Israel are going through hell. My cousin recently had to undergo chemotherapy in an air raid shelter.

Iran is indicating that it has returned fire with an equal number of missiles to the US attack they suffered, and that they chose targets out of the way of civilian areas, and indeed warned the bases of the strikes. Nice to see at least one of these nations acting with some restraint. Shame there aren't more adults in the room though - Trump will hit them either way.

this. The international rules-based order has collapsed. The UN no longer serves any purpose, nor seemingly does the US constitution.
