It's confusing in a way because it sort of makes the case that Musk is at least consistent in his thinking, which I would usually say is a positive thing with respect of someone's character. But on the other hand it calls into question what he thought this was all for.. He's barely saved any money at all from a governmental point of view, it very much looks like he's left that half done with no tangible gains. That made sense when you looked at it as some sort of smokescreen for other things or part of a wider strategy of disruption, but looking at it now it seems like he was a true believer in that process and then just got bored with it and left without finishing. Which somewhat limits, I would have thought, his ability to be critical about anything at all.

It also works better without the hideous collar of the original. Adidas really had a nightmare few years with collars in the 90's.
-
Fantastic, we make a signing and immediately confirm he will play no part in the team next season.
-
I think it works better with the Sela logo. The offset Brown Ale logo on the original design looked ridiculous.

Meanwhile ... can you lot stop whinging now? Newcastle United to sign Spanish winger Antonio Cordero - Newcastle United

Also, the standard of spam advertising on Twitter these days... what the fuck even is this?

Their sync is unreal. I massively underestimated how it was going to be - thought it'd be a shit attempt to play the backing music but it was a true recreation of what was in the films. The one I'm gutted I missed was Gladiator as they had Lisa Gerrard there doing the vocals live alongside the music.

He's really turned on Trump's budget bill. Which is very amusing after he spent months trying to gut government spending Trump then turns round and decides to increase spending and the defecit. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out given that Musk has pretty much threatened to fund primary opponents in the mid terms of those Republicans who back the bill. At what point do you think the Americans will realise that they have an unelected foreign billionaire controlling their political system?
-
Until they get deported for not being American enough
-
Fuck me. Roll on August.

I became good friends with the driver and he was hounded by the MPs because he had an Irish name. A good many were from the north east. I was in hospital with a young lad who lost a leg on his first deployment he was only 18.
-
Is this the one that believes in man made hurricanes and Jewish space lasers? Expecting her to read a bill that is several hundred pages long is a bit of a stretch tbh.....
-
They've got the right to say whatever they like. It's right there in the Magna Carta.
-
I was just reading the ages of the people who died in the attack, not one of them over 21 years old. An awful waste of life.
- Today

It's up there with them saying "me either" when they mean neither.
-
I bet that great tbh
-
No but I was in hospital with the survivors.
-
I like it also tbh, but I'd never buy it or wear it.
-
Is that what put you in hospital?
-
I was in hospital after my injuries watching from bed, 88 was a shit year, had the Ballygawley bus bomb in August

I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I like it

Pretty sure I could care less is a yank special. it doesn’t make any sense. It’s literally the opposite of couldn’t care less, which is what they mean.
-
I’ve seen a couple of ‘movies in concert’ at the Royal Albert Hall - Back to the Future and Jaws. I expected it to be quite gimmicky …. It was anything but

Is it an Americanism? Genuine question. My grandparents used to say it all the time so have always assumed it’s traditional English - my nan wouldn’t even touch curry FFS it was ‘foreign muck’ so I do question the idea she used American English on a regular basis.
