2024/25 - Generic NUFC Chat. Cunts ☑️

Started the day off watching that Bruno documentary made by his family. Followed that up with the "fan" documentary about the cup final. Fucking destroyed once again. -
In all seriousness. What is it that Stramer has actually done that makes him worse to vote for than Reform and the Conservatives? I am still in the mindset that a vote for the Lib Dems and Green Party are a waste of a vote, or even more cynical if you want don't want a Labour government, vote Conservative or if you don't want a Conservative government, vote Labour. I know he lacks any clear identity but, to me, he appears far more competent than everyone in my recent memory.

What I think you mean Gilles is DEI ie “divervsity equality and inclusion” Trump & Musk have gone for these policies (& jobs) in a big way and wiped most of it from US Federal government departments . Farage has this morning said it costs uk taxpayers 7 billion a year. Not sure if anyone has bothered to do a journalism and check that and challenge the slavering fuckin wanker on that figure but there you go

Working in a service industry, my response to this workshop was to suggest we can utilise it to reduce overhead when it comes to reporting and knowledge management, but that both would need QC scrutiny applied to it and even that was entirely dependent on quality data input to start with. Apparently they were expecting something more than that.
-
So what you actually meant was D&I or EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion)?
-
Seems to fall out with people left, right and centre also. Basically he's shite and gets found out pretty quickly. On that basis, what the hell was Eales thinking in appointing him or was it 'jobs for the boys'?
-
Diversity and inclusion.

I’ll stop saying we need a RW when Gemmill stops predicting Everton will be relegated.

Looking at his CV he doesn't seem to hang about anywhere for a long period.

Rick Derringer, Sloopy let go.

It also seems more than a little short-sighted for organisations to be delightedly handing over key functions and decision-making processes to what is, ultimately, a paid product that can be withdrawn, modified or made prohibitively more expensive at any time.

The podcast things a bit much (imo) but thats exactly the sort of utility that AI can have and be good and useful. If we weren't stuck in the system of economy/government we were in then recent breakthroughs with AI could be used to do an absolute fuck load of jobs that people don't actually want to do, and then something like a UBI could be used to help with the fact that it would impact the jobs market. It would be an enormous step forward for humanity, where people could actually focus on health and art and being good for the world and doing all those things that humanity is actually capable of doing if we weren't all stuck having to work all the time to be able to afford to not be homeless. Instead it is for some reason being used to replace art with mindless, soulless drivel that has so little value it can't even get a like on an internet forum whilst burning down rainforests to power data centers to produce valueless garbage. All while stealing from talented, hard working people whose work is referred to as "data". Making billions for a select few people whilst more struggling artists and workers lose their livelihoods and you have tory cunts like Nick Clegg whining that the business won't be viable if they can't steal from everyone as if thats an argument in its favour.

They issued the new device along with packing for the device I was returning. On receipt of the device they activated the trade-in agreement. So basically I was contracted to pay the full amount until they got it in their hands - gave me time to transfer my data, wipe the phone and send it back. Had a no-quibble cooling off period as well just in case they didn't agree with the valuation. Pretty seamless process tbh.
-
I would have normally done this with Samsung but because I got a large blue light discount I suspect they reduced the trade in. Also how does it work in practice, when do you exchange the phone? Presumably after you've transferred all your data? Seems quite a lot of trust from the company if so, or do they refund you after (in which case the trust is on you).

Not much of Spurs fan. Mitchell worked with Poch at Spurs. This dude worked with Redknapp and Villas Boas to spend the Bale money… https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3251789/amp/Tottenham-announce-technical-director-Franco-Baldini-left-club-mutual-consent.html
