If he's genuinely concussed from that, he needs to stay in the house with a crash helmet on at all times.

so ref gets a proper concussion check, but fuck the players

Rafael Behr made the point that there are voters similar to you i.e. progressives who have leaned Labour in the past who now feel that Labour doesn’t really offer them anything. Lots of these people held their noses and voted Labour last year because they were sick of the Tories dancing to Farage’s tune and were desperate to get them out. Now what they’ve ended up with is a Labour Party basically doing the same thing by slashing foreign aid, talking tough on immigration and offering zero support for trans rights. So come the next election what incentive is there for these voters to continue voting for Labour? They may as well vote with their heart because voting tactically has given them nothing. Starmer’s reaction to the results was saying he needs to accelerate change but no one has any idea what changes he’s talking about.

The ref going down in the Leicester game btw. Vardy.

Another thing I remember that all-inclusive was how people wasted food because of the buffet and the 'well I paid for it' attitude. I was once at a hotel on holiday where it was a buffet breakfast and I saw an English lass go up get a smallish plate of stuff, take two mouth full of food and put the plate to one side. Then she did that another couple of times. I hate food waste and just shook my head. One of the waiting staff saw me and agreed and had a word with her

I think he gets around OK, especially for his size but I do think Howe wants the attack minded focus and speed on the ball of Willock who will take more chances and run at defenders. Willock actually is quite physical in defense as well, and busts a gut getting around. Obviously he lacks the size and strength of Joelinton (and Miley) but he gives it a red hot go. He's not a 90 minute player because he keeps nothing in reserve, there's a point in most game where you see his legs go. I don't have a problem with this in attacking player in current times when you're afforded 5 substitutions. Willock will 95% start. I just hope he can bring a little more end product than he has of late. He's the same percentage to be subbed off at some point when Miley will likely get a run.

This actually bothers me nowadays. Spend 2 months shifting 3 Kg of lumber, then wreck it over the course of a week on holiday! I'm on "holiday" in Glasgow today, for family reasons. Just realised it's the old firm game. Fuck sticks, hope these knackers don't stray into the West End.

Good point.

Did they come with bags more buzz?

What actually also put me off is the food was superb last year so I ate about 3x more than I needed to. Had a similar experience on a 12 night med cruise about 15 years ago where I walked loads (there was a stop at a port almost every day) went to the gym every morning plus sometimes in the afternoon and still put on about a stone

Not saying it’s a long term concern but I think Miley perhaps lacks the athleticism Howe wants atm. I.e. in terms of getting around the pitch. I think it’s an aspect of his game that will improve with time. Long term he’s a better fit than Willock for the more possession based midfield we’ve become (when the best 3 are available). I agree with Gloom that it’s a tad unfair to write Willock off.

We’ve won a trophy anyway and we need CL to keep progressing. Europa league would be a decent consolation but it’s not going to help much in terms of the club kicking on. The other thing is it allows another team to progress at our expense
-
It's great to be having this discussion at this stage of a season. Even better with a fresh trophy in our cabinet.
-
Bad run of form to end what has still been their best season since they won a trophy* and they all fuck off for the lap of appreciation or whatever it’s called. *our last relegation which is essentially the same thing

Over my head but worth noting that one of my first ever jobs as a 17 year old trainee butcher was to drive to a farm in wideopen to collect wild rabbits for the shop -
Im not tee-total but also hardly call myself a drinker. When I did all-inclusive about 7 years ago in Cyprus with my family I had about 4 pints all week alcohol wise. But had loads of coffee and sprite 😂 absolutely smashed it on that front 🥳
