  1. Past hour
  2. Seen as though PL took my winning streak off me, I am finishing it off. I shall be honest. A point here and I will be surprised. We have been wank all season away and last night fucked me off no end. 2-0 Botman both.
  3. I have to say, (and I thought this as soon as I heard it), Burn has to switch on a bit more pre-game in that interview as he was definitely being set up by sky with this rivalry bollocks scenario which was always going to blow up in our faces and was obviously a nice stage prop for Keane to denigrate another football club with zero comebacks from the presenter. The leading questions got their desired result. Eddie coaching required for the big lad.
  4. Why the big white space between your post and the embedded tweet? Is it a representation of the French flag ? (I know, I know)
  5. I like this bit: “I believe in myself and the gaffer has told me all the qualities I have. It’s about doing it consistently, with the right attitude, and always staying grounded.” If anyone starts acting billy big bollocks, ship them out for me. I suspect a certain porcelain #9 has a touch of that tbh.
  6. Today
  7. Look now, our players are a civilized bunch and they behave like grown ups because they are led by Eddie Howe. I'm telling you, he was absolutely seething.
  8. I’ve woke up still annoyed. This felt quite pivotal. We can’t seem to get our noses past these cunts when it really matters. That’s ingrained in both clubs. Tripper looked like that fat fullback on a Sunday league team that you know used to be good but just doesn’t have the legs anymore. Dubs was shite. I’m assuming Pope is in the same boat as Trippier otherwise he’d be playing. If we had Schar and Tino we would have won that. Hopefully we keep Isak and Bruno when we don’t make the euro spots although I’m not too bothered if we make the conference spot. We can just concentrate on the league. Keeping the star players is key though. Hall is progressing every game. It would be class if he could sneak into the euros squad. Trips won’t be going on that showing.
  9. Kim Wilde Carol Vorderman Darryl Hannah Anthea Turner Julianne Moore And (fuck's sake) Jeremy Clarkson Colin Firth Hugh Grant Ru Paul And last, but not least, Charles Cullen (and a few more serial killers). Oh, and the Baconator (in the same maternity home, but 6 weeks later)
  10. No doubt PGMOL will acknowledge the mistake and promise to do better next time (when it's irrelevant).
  11. The only positive from that result is that it may keep Ten Bob there a bit longer (although I doubt that Ratcliffe is that stupid). As long as we can keep Bruno, Isak etc, I will even accept no tin pot European adventure, but the end to this season is pretty deflating so it can
  12. Also Howe called it a stonewall penalty in the full presser.
  13. Gordon wasn't seething, thought he spoke very well about the whole incident and the involvement (or lack thereof) of VAR.
  14. Yesterday
  15. Howe did sound his frustration at it at least. Gordon seething in the post match interview and this Bruno tweet: Let it all out against Brentford lads and finish above these thundercu**s
  16. 100% Silence is just enabling this shite
  17. Ah man, what to say that isn’t already been said? How the fuck we haven’t got anything out of that game is beyond me. Man U are lifting. We had so many chances to win it. All their goals were shit to concede from our perspective - a trippier brain fart, then an unmarked swing from a corner. Dubs should have done better for the second and the third goals. We should have had a pen, but it’s old Trafford so forget about that. Isak, Longstaff and Miggy all have to score. annoying but this game isn’t the reason we won’t finish top 6.
  18. Howe being Howe wont probably comment on it, but the club should be asking for the audio at the very least. Make some noise man, it's absolutely disgraceful.
  19. VAR works well in rugby where the ref is mic'ed up, its shown on screen in the stadium and they discuss it publicly, and half the time you can hardly see the ball as its underneath 10 sweaty 20 stone men
  20. I wouldn't put it past him, he's certainly capable if his body does its part. I don't see him wanting to leave at this stage, but I guess it depends how long he wants to keep playing for. Hopefully he's ok transitioning into an offfield 'player' beyond next season (like Matt Ritchie, but loads better) l, having him as a mentor for Livramento could help him to round out his game.
  21. Completely agree it should be scrapped bar for automated offside checks and goal line tech. VAR is useless. I've complained til I'm blue in the face over this shit that VAR is only as useful as the people using it and the people using it are objectively useless. Like Gemmers said, let's just return to one useless idiot making decisions on the pitch and move on with our lives on that basis. At this point any illusion that VAR contributes to making the game fairer for clubs outside the elect (e.g., ManU, Liverpool, PSG et al) should be forgotten. Let's just get on with football, return to celebrating a goal when it's scored. VAR is an outgrowth of every referees latent delusion that they have the magical god-like capacity to make objectively correct decisions in a game of football. Let's forget that and get back to reality, shall we? The only thing we know for sure about football is that referees are universally an embarrassment to their family, have no friends, and carry a chip on their shoulder from years of being last picked on the playground. VAR check confirmed.
  22. I was watching the game on Sky for the first time in ages. How the fuck do they think a panel of Cole, the swearing Cork cunt and this fat bearded cunt can be appropriate. Fucking ridiculous non-discussion of the penalty appeal in the first half. Cunts everywhere.
  23. We need to sign Schär's replacement. It doesn't need to be a like for like as we're unlikely to find someone with his passing and technique who is also the right age and also more mobile. My hope is that with Tonali coming back we get that deeper distribution from him as well as a fully fit Botman. Then we need an additional striking option, perhaps someone with more of a physical presence who can play back to goal. Isak's fitness is patchy, and he has the odd game (like today) where things don't click for him. The right wing option also needs sorting. Murphy has on balance done well and Almiron has had patches but otherwise frustrated. To go to the next level we need improvement there. Then it's a better reserve keeper option than Pope, someone on the rise with quality on the ball also as that's still Pope's biggest weakness.
