  1. Got back from a long weekend in the Highlands. We did: Glencoe Fort William South Coast of Skye Eilean Donan Fort Augustus\Loch Ness Pitlochry Highlight was spending half a day hiking to the southern most point of Skye. The views and beaches down there are unreal

  2. The most senior plo member in the cemetery and being honoured was supposedly the first one who talked about recognising Israel and moving away from all out violence. Him going there to honour the Munich killers is a downright lie. As I said at the start it's one of the naive/stupid things he did when he didn't matter.

  3. There's loads of small hilltop villages that are absolutely mint - dead quiet, even in the summer holidays, windy old streets and a piazza at the top with old blokes shouting at one another and playing cards. Montone, Anghiari and Spello probably stand out as the best of the smaller places. The views from the tops of these hills are crazy as well - you're looking at the landscape drawings you see on every bottle of wine you've ever had. Arezzo and Spoleto are a bit bigger with plenty to do and see. The place we stayed comes highly recommended too - bang in the middle of nowhere so it's quiet as owt (apart from the farmers doing their thing and the fucking cockerels giving it the big one at 6am). Some American bloke put together this video for them using his drone (which he took on holiday with him?!). https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1795841877148200&id=196892073709863&refsrc=https%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com%2F&_rdr I didn't take many photos, but have attached a couple that come under the maximum file size requirement!

  4. Tbf, laying a wreath for terrorists is pretty low down the scale of shit that's happened in UK&US politics over the last 12 months. I doubt he will resign It's a shame that Corbyn seems incapable of staying on the right side of the fence when itcomes to believing in political causes (Irish independence, free Palestine) Vs supporting people who murder in the name of said causes

  6. I don't really want to argue about the reasons tbh. But luckily I agree anyway.

  7. Aside from nationalisation, which I'm not convinced is a brilliant idea, I don't see how a centre left leader in this climate wouldn't be in favour of those policies.

  9. Corbyn has been an unmitigated disaster for the entire country now, let alone the Labour party. I detest him almost as much as the Tory cunts. Not providing an opposition at this time in history is simply unforgivable. If he cared remotely about the country, he'd resign. But he won't, and will give the most right wing party in living history free reign to wreck the country as they see fit.

  10. Cynical but plausible tweet from Frankie Boyle suggesting the wreath thing is one of a pile they have which are being kept for the election which they've dipped into because Johnson is in trouble. Being a naive/principled former non-entity unfortunately means there's more shit like this to come.

  11. I doubt that in 2014 JC or anyone else thought he'd be in the running to be PM four years later. The two major political parties in the UK are dominated by fuckin cranks...am blaming the internet

  13. Flew back from two weeks in Umbria today. Fucking gutted to be back. Was in the queue to get on the plane and noticed a fat cunt a few people ahead of me in a Panama hat. It wasn't until he took the hat off to reveal a rose tattoo up the back of his neck and skull that I realised he was a bit too classy to be CT.
