Those tracks are a bit before my time. All I remember is that Macau often had a lot of carnage, and that sort of thing is not approved of these days. It would be one hell of a challenge for the drivers, but there would be no overtaking at all. And I can't stress enough how much Macau has always been in Hong Kong's shadow, and that it is quite a boring place. Those new tracks you mentioned are indeed sanitised rubbish, but their location is all that matters to Bernie and co. Any country with enough £ can have a race. They just need the number of Bernie's favourite designer and a few corporate sponsors. It's a shame, as thesenew countries had a blank sheet, and could have designed some real corkers.

I'll let him off for the Mateus. It's probably the only wine sold in those days. After all, Blue Nun was sophisticated in the 70's wasn't it?

Macau.....I remember seeing the race weekend they have there on Hong Kong TV in the early 90's. The F3 race was won by some guy called David Coulthard I seem to remember. I cannot see an F1 race there for a few reasons: 1. The track is surely too tight for an F1 race-the hairpin is even worse than the one in Monaco. 2. Macau is a pretty shit place if I'm honest. All there is are a few casinos and hotels. 3. It is too near Hong Kong, and Hong Kong would probably be a far more 'glamourous' street circuit race. If that race included the Cross Harbour tunnel, it could be pretty spectacular. HK has that huge airport at Chek Lap Kok as well. Singapore is probably the best of the new tracks. I'd keep that race. Too early to say about Abu Dhabi, but the scale of it is mind boggling.

I couldn't disagree more. Sure, it's difficult to overtake but we need diversity on the F1 calendar and certainly not the full of 'dull as fuck' monotonous Tilke-designed circuits. Melbourne, Monte-Carlo, Montreal, Silverstone, Spa, Monza & Suzuka should feature on the calendar without question. I would have also included the original Hockenheim until they fucked with it 10 years ago... I'd go along with that list, and add Interlagos. Yes, it is old and decrepid, but the track is great, the atmosphere seems good, and its basic facilities are a nice counterpoint to those airbrushed, soulless tracks in obscure countries with no interest in racing (e.g. China, Turkey, Malaysia, Bahrain). Monaco is unique, and offers the drivers the drivers a real challenge, but for spectators, its fucking boring. Valencia is worse though.

Monaco is always a fucking dull race. Yes, it has history and all that, but modern F1 cars have no chance of overtaking unless you get a situation like Alonso being at the back of the grid. I'd rather see Monaco and Hungary go before the usual Silverstone bashing from Andy Warhol's midget twin. And all these new tracks are soulless and dull as well.

I think Weatherspoons pubs sell it now. I do love wheat bears. Erdinger, Hoegaarden, they're all great. My dad used to drink DAB when we lived in Germany in the 80's.

Seems like you need to grow a pair tbh. Meaning? Anyway, they were a wedding present, as she bought me a gituar. -
I can't believe the stuff I read about the public sector worker's contracts in Greece. They get 14 months pay, dodge taxes and retire in their 50's? No wonder the Germans are so pissed off. They should cut out those lazy, hairy shouldered bunch of benders and leave them to burn. If they want to save the Euro, they'd kick out the Greeks and Portuguese immediately.

If I was 10 years younger...........result!!!

Anyone who works with the dildo twins needs their head sorting out. They signed Benni McCarthy and others behind Zola's back*, slag off players and staff in public and dress like aging rejects from a C&C Music factory video. *=Blackburn fans are happy we got rid of fat Benni. He had the skill but absolutely no application or interest. The move was aking to you hiring Souness as manager.

I'm sure fizzy drinks are all the same everywhere..........................hang on............. John Gregory loved to air his dirty laundry in public, and I lost a load of respect for him when he started slagging off Collymore for his depression. It was a typical idiot's reaction saying that he could not suffer it because he was rich. He deserves to be dodging the rockets over the fence becuae he was an arrogant twat.

David Cameron side view...........hahahaha !!!!

You can vomit on sight twice? Bargain.

So David Miliband is standing for leadership. I hope his parents have a note excusing him from any upcoming exams and time off from school. This coalition may just work. The Lib Dems could act as a brake on the Tories' desires to shit on the poor and get bummed by the rich. Nick Clegg is also dealing with constitutional reforms, so we may get some action in that area too (though that is probably used by Cameron as a distraction so Nick doesn't pose a challenge).

326 seats for a majority Seems like a pretty crap night for the Lib Dems, sadly.

Always prefered this tune myself.

Odd that the Bear from Bo Selecta is being used as a pundit. And hasn't he lost his hair since he was last on TV. Hang on, that's Nick Robinson.
-
Gordon Brown up soon. [Edit]: He tonked the others including the bloke from the Command a Conquer games and a bloke who is wearing a blazer/high Vis jacket combo. I think the Lib Dems will keep quite a few that the Tories are after, and nick a few from Labour. Labour have held a few Welsh seats. Lib Dems hold a seat in Fife, and City of Durham is...........actually I missed that one. Battersea is a Tory gain, Labour hold Smogborough and Durham NW.

Anyone who has seen Martin Keown knew this already.

Easington held by Labour. Torbay is...................held by the Lib Dems, by a few thousand Putney is.............held by the Tories easily.
