  1. http://www.forteantimes.com won't give Parky a two year contract as the World will end in 12 months and the Aliens who will take him away won't honour any earth contracts.
  2. Toughguymick wants a transfer to a site that can match his ambitions. http://www.jobseekers-allowance.com are monitoring the situation.
  3. cbeebies.com would like to wish Kevin all the best in his move to Toontastic and hope he can make the next step up in his career.
  4. Llamlick.com won't be held to ransom for a poster with no re-sale value.
  5. source? Contract talks are on hold as TT thinks his postings will deteriorate with age as his hair has and cannot guarantee his place on here in a years time.
  6. PaulWyn.com want Stevie...... ......Dead or Alive.
  7. Positivelypositive.com have offered TT a £1 Asda coupon, 10 Frosties vouchers to get a free Tony Tiger t shirt with 'They're greeeeaat' on it plus a WeightWatchers set of scales for CT.
  8. Breaking transfer news!!! Sheptastic.com has put a £1.5M bid in for LM even though ceiling is £1M!
  9. If some other MB comes in for one of our posters, how much would we sell him/her for? For the sake of argument, £1M is the top price.
  10. Totally forgotten about that one. Was a canny read. Where Leazes is concerned, no it wasn't you.
  11. I guessed a long while back that a certain poster on another forum and very ocassional poster on here wrote for The Mag. His writing style gave him away. Also got another lad from another forum right as well by his style. Stevie's not the only detective on here.
  12. Aye. Pulitzer in the post to Walkerville as we speak Used to know Jensen wen he first started doing/selling The Mag and he seemed a good lad.....not seen him years though and from what I've read on here about him and the supporters club/trust it seems its all gone tho his head a bit. Havent read any of them in years tbh, as CT says t'internet has in a way superceded the fanzines, which is a shame in a way as they were truly a huge breath of fresh air in the 80s when as you say coverage was a bit thin on the ground. One of the Mag's writers Billy Furious has written a couple of good books, the one about the 93 promotion season is excellent. Why you cheeky....... To be honest, the last thing I done for TF was edited where he put in a sentence here and there which was the editors patter and not mine which I didn't really think was right as it was my name on the piece. Haven't been tempted to do one since. Used to do the odd bit for TOTT when it was out and it was a canny read. Some of TF's bits on music/trainers etc leave me cold I have to agree with LM there. Toon Army News could be funny as fuck but you had to have a certain type of humour.
  13. I bought the Mag from when it first came out, there was a couple of others as well which have gone the journey like Black & White and read all over, Toon Army News, (which was more of a viz type humour based fanzine) and Talk of the Toon. They were a real breath of fresh air at the time and maybe people don't realise how little news there was about NUFC at the time. You had the Chronicle, sunday sun, journal and a bit on Look North if you were lucky and there was nowhere that got into discussions about NUFC that a fanzine could. I still get the Mag and True Faith but admit I'm not as arsed on them at the minute, although TF does have the odd good bit of piss take info that comes in regarding other clubs and used to have a few retro pieces of games from the past which were great to read. I've done the very odd bit of writing for both in the past.
  14. So you actually got to see this 'great' in action then? Fuck me, maybe I just imagined that he and Rob Mcdonald were utterly shit and a failed last throw of the dice by Jim Smith to keep us up as he had no faith in Robertson and Mirandinha.
  15. This article in the Mail is a gentle wind up so middle England can sneer once more at us. If you look at the replies to the story at the bottom of the article it's done its job. The way certain events have been portrayed up here in the not too distant past bordered on a form of racism in my opinion. Fuck 'em.
  16. I can't stand his weedy voice.
  17. That's like an old dib-dab. Icky acki Horses Cacki Icky acky ooo Wind blew Cacky flew on to YOU!!
  18. Whats the words then? I hear, ' His name is Joey Barton and he loves the toon, everybody nereds a nutter' but what comes after? Like a few of the 'ultra' songs it aint catchy and most of the ground hasn't a clue what they're saying. (And I'm in with them! And don't get me started on the 'we love Newcastle' song missing out the 'you)'.
  19. So basically the 'greatest league in the World' was hit just by NUFC being relegated?
  20. The Marc Almond one is one that pisses him off greatly. Then again. 'tainted love' is utter gash so we all have our crosses to bare.
  21. Honestly mate, get something to do with the clubs history, player or otherwise. You'll get more kudos from people over there in the know.
  22. Nessun Dorma? I'll have a 'point' of Lager, Kev. And with that I'm away oot for a few real 'points'.
  23. :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol: It was supposed to be a check to see if your balls had dropped yet.
