I couldn't get away with Lego or Meccano at all. Probably why I had no interest in DT at school which I wished I had of shown more interest for being an adult. My patience with stuff like that was nil, same with art. If it didn't look right straight away I'd go in a huff with it.

I watched some of this, as TBD says, it was epically bad. Unless either team luck out on some good season long loan deals they're absolutely fucked if they get promoted. The quality was atrocious.

It's nailed on to look shit, doesn't matter what they decide on ultimately. I loved the magpie in front of the castle, loved the NUFC badge, when the current one came out I thought it was brilliant, still loved the others though. But if you look at other modern updates on club crests I'm struggling to think of any that's been an improvement for whatever reason they give? It's almost a dumbing down because in this day and age modern technology can't handle copying an image? I reckon it be a bolder version of the shield where it looks like it pops out the screen/shirt/whatever with some token magpie or something with Newcastle United only or maybe just even NUFC? There'll be no 'football club' on it that's for definite.

Had Bristol CITY v Sheffield UNITED for about 20 minutes and it's been pretty instructive listening to the sky commentary team. They can't call them just Bristol or Sheffield as there's other Bristol and Sheffield clubs but they're fucked if they're going to say just 'City' or 'United' only so every time they mention them it's Bristol City or it's Sheffield United. Every time.
