Which King had the most children? Jonathan

Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me? Bit of both, this is a rape.

The door of the dole office maybe.

And I'm not the Fish. And neither is my wife.

That one is deserving of the retarded smile.

Yes he's putting into place an infrastructure which appears to be a good idea but we could have the best infrastructure in the country but it means nothing without results on the pitch. Our players may be fit but unless we're playing with a system that suits the players we have rather than trying to adapt to Sam's previous style then it means nothing. What I'm saying is that while many people are creaming themselves about the coaching/medical changes being made I'll wait until I see improved performances on the pitch before I can say whether the changes were a success or not.
-
I also had doubts over his appointment. So far we've signed a few decent players which is encouraging and the backroom seems to be shaping up but I'll judge him on what happens on the pitch.

65 quid? I may have to invest in one, seeing as when I shave I still look like I've got half a day's growth.

We need some creativity in the centre of the park IMO, Emre isn't the answer. We've Duff and N'Zogbia on the left wing and Dyer and Milner may be able to do a job on the right. The problem up front is that Owen and Martins aren't going to create too many chances themselves but with the right supply line they're capable of putting chances away.

This will be as important as any signing we've made so far.

How much money does he need? He's being offered incredible money so the decision really should be about football.

Aye it's in Belfast and undoubtedly shit wages, though if I'm working in Belfast it gives me the option of living at home which would save a few quid. What pisses me off is that the shit wages used to be justified because of the price of living but that's now bollocks, N. Ireland has the highest UK average house price outside of the south of England. When's the appropriate time to ask about money? At the 2nd interview or wait for an offer?

They were saying something on the radio that that figure was innaccurate and is probably about half that.

Well I had an interview today and the interviewer certainly put my mind at ease regarding how much accounting would be involved. She said she started in audit then moved into business risk services and enjoyed it much more as it wasn't standard accounting but more practical business oriented, so that's slightly encouraging. Also found out I got 90% in my numeracy exam for them, she seemed very impressed. It's true what you say Gemmill, an ACA qualification certainly would be worth getting for the future. Boyo, what do know about the PIC division within PWC? I've also applied for it, again it's the accounting side of it.

I'll make sure and tell them that in my interview today. I don't know if I'd even take the jobs if offered them, I might give it a go for a year and see how I like it, I could be surprised (though I doubt I will). It really is consultancy I want to get into and I'm unsure how this work experience would look on my CV, especially the issue of jumping ship so soon should I not like the job and being typecast as an accountant. One of the jobs I've applied for is essentially internal audit, though I've heard that a lot of time spent as audit support is too be expected. The other one is essentially a client side advisory role dealing with accounting systems and processes rather than pure accounting itself, or so they told me, which appeals to me a bit more than the other one. But unless something better comes up in the mean time I'll probably get dragged into the awful world of accountancy. So have you recently qualified then? Are you happy enough in the job? Which service line are you working in?

Gervais was shite, but tbf he was trying to pad and really didn't want to have to do that dance. I still thought he could have done better, even rehashed a few of the gags from his standup shows which I thought were good shows.

Just 54 lives, not really worth it is it? For the effect it will have on a sizebale amount of the population for just 0.0009% Hardly seems proportionate does it? The having to stand outside effect? Those poor smokers! I know you mightn't like it but you have to remember that 25% of the population still smoke, that percentage probably rises if you just surveyed regular pub goers. If this law is, as Vic says, to protect workers then it's a disproportinate measure to save just 54 lives a year.

Fop your figure of 600 deaths from passive smoking is slightly misleading. The figure of 600 covers people exposed to smoke at work, the figure for deaths of people employed in the hospitality industry as a result of passive smoke is in fact just 54. So the smoking ban in pubs and clubs is in fact saving just 54 lives a year.

I still don't reckon it's value for money but if you're going to pay for a TV package it's the only option really.

In the first few pages. Just £2.50 a day for senility drugs you know, help with memory and everything. Y'know if more people started smoking people like Vic could get the help they need on the NHS.

Just caught the last 5 minutes of it, what a load of shite. William and Harry needed cards to remember all 5 of their lines to recite and the compilation of her childhood was just boring, if the rest of the concert was as enthralling then I'm glad I missed it.
