The last time I cared about England was when Carroll played for them and I cant even remember the time before that. The only way I'll be bothered about them this tournament is if he goes with the players who deserve to be there on form or who could be built towards a future generation, and possibly if Mike Williamsons involved like we all know he should be. Tbh I think I'll be supporting France more than I will England when they play each other.

There is absolutely no chance Pardew would want to replace Jonas. He's been pivotal in our season and makes it so easy for Pardew to switch formations when needed as he can cover a whole load of positions. He's one of the first names on the team sheet. -
Newcastle United v Manchester City
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to McFaul 's topic in Newcastle Forum
Gonna go for a 1-1 here. Even with their attacking talent, I still think Yaya Toure is one of their most dangerous players -
The servers given a kick up the arse. For how big a game it is, it probably has the worst servers ever

France to win it and Benzema top scorer, easy money. 15/1 on France to win it. 18/1 on Benzema top scorer

I know one Mackem who deep down knows we are better than them, he takes all the banter and everything and respects us as a club and I can actually talk to hom about were they are going and were he thinks we are going, but in my 20 years of living he is the only one, ever to be so middle grounded about it without any spite and malice and fair play to him as the rest are all delusional about their place in the football world and it would be so easy to follow the trend.

The thing is if Leazes is still baiting people and bumping 6 year old threads when were having the most enjoyable season in recent times, then it is never gonna end, He will continue this until he's blue in the face and then continue going. Lettuce be real tea here, if he isnt stopping now he never will, and banning others because they have less posts and havent baited people as much is bullshit. Inb4 i get the ban hammer. But howay man, you keep going on about the ignore function but he keeps poking people until hey get fed up and have to respond ffs! He even bumped a 6 year old thread man, wake up and smell the cwoffee! I was in the leazes camp of thinking things were never gonna be rosey under Ashley but i can admit when im wrong and not be a farty asshole for the sake of an argument. I'm pretty sure everyone thought hed chaged when he was put in the creche but hes just went back to his old ways

What an absolute twatful debate to be having man ffs! Were 4th with four games to go, could potentially get Champions League and are definites for Europe for the first time in years, yet still the same argument over board v board is brought up again and again. Move the fuck on and enjoy it man. I'm not a lover of Ashley and co, but it doesnt stop me from enjoying whats happening at the club at the minute, I was wrong at the start of the season and thank fuck i was and now I'm enjoying supporting the team and the football being served.

Player of the Year Awards
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to Lake Bells tits's topic in Newcastle Forum
Sure Dempsey plays on the left for Fulham aswell, so he should be in there instead of Gareth Bale. I'd gan for Krul as our player of the year. Been solid as a rock and saved us on so many occasions that it's hard to look past him -
Getting one next season like. Got a decent paying job this year so i can get a season ticket along with me mate, hopefully in the SE corner as I prefer the atmosphere than sitting in silence for 90 minutes. Plus it saves is the hassle of ordering juniors for every game, and means I can go to every game instead of missing one (Like i did for the Liverpool game after it got swamped with a bunch of fair weather fans) before i could get there.

If Aston villa look to go down?
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to Lake Bells tits's topic in Newcastle Forum
If theyre not down this season, they definitely will be next. Lerner isnt spending money and Mcleish is having to bring loads of youngins into the first team, which isnt a recipe for success -
Name the games then? If Santon was the one clearing the balls off the line you's would be praising him to the high heavens, but since it's Simpson it was a fluke or he didnt do something right in the build up too it.

Newcastle & European Qualification
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to loonyTOON's topic in Newcastle Forum
Seen in the paper today even if we get sixth and Chelsea win the Champs League we wont get Europe -
What is this? I don't even...
-
The amount of shit Simpson gets is unreal, he's been one of our most consistent players, yet people always seem to pick faults with him. So what if he's not as good as Santon going forward, but at the minute he's a better defender than him and that's all I care about with full backs. Unlike Santon, hes had 3 players ahead of him who havent exactly been naturals at defending alongside him unlike Santon who's had Gutierrez infront of him whilst Simpson has had ben Arfa, Obertan and Barton. He does things unpectcularly and goes under the radar in games, and for that I couldnt care as long as he gets the basics right, which hes done all season
-
Obertan was signed to be in the first team, hence why he got a prolonged run in the team at the very start of the season, plus with Barton going he was most likely his replacement. We arent going to be spending more than a few million on back-up players, hencewhy we never signed a CB in January. It just wouldnt make sense as we've seen how prudent Ashley is about spending money on players. On top of that we've got Best who is a pretty good squad player to have and wont be costing much to keep a hold of.
-
Forgot about Soderberg ( my mistake ) Rhodes would be back-up but has potential to be first choice with more PL experience. The guy is awesome. We arent going to be spending more than £3 million for any sort of back-up/bench player, therefore Rhodes is out of the question.
-
Lettuce be cereal for a moment here, if we get rid of Best we aren't going to be getting Rhodes in as there is no way Ashley or even Pardew for that matter will want to spend more than a couple million on a squad/backup player. Soderberg has already left aswell
-
Doesn't matter if we have more games we can still only have 25 bods. If you look mate we have over 30 at the minute that's why in my opinion I would let a lot of average players go to free up some wages to get in better quality. You dont need to involve everyone in it, you can leave some under 21's(?) etc out of it, all you have to do is reach the 4 players homegrown by the club and then 4 more on top of it who have been homegrown in England then you can add whoever you want in

Newcastle United v Stoke City
StoneColdStephenIreland replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
Hopefully go with the 4-3-3 formation as going 4-4-2 nearly cost us against Bolton as we didn't cause them any danger at all in that game apart from the two goals, plus Stoke fullbacks are utter shyte and Ben Arfa could have a field day against them. -
Aye, makes total sense to let more of our squad leave when we're gonna have more games next season. The likes of Simpson, Williamson, Guthrie and Best we should keep
