If Ashley was actually willing to pay the sort of bucks that Liverpool would no doubt be asking for then I'd rather we use that money to get someone in who is less of a liability and someone who won't unbalance the team.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but I got through season 1 of 'How To Make It In America' over the weekend. It's about a couple of young hustlers trying to make it big in Brooklyn. With only 8 episodes per season it's worth a punt. I've read some people calling it a more down to earth version of Entourage if that helps convince anybody to give it a chance - I wouldn't know though, I've not got round to watching Entourage yet.

My first and last encounter with DPD happened last Christmas. The Mrs had ordered something from Debenhams as a present for her brother. Can't remember what it was supposed to be, but I do remember it being in lots of little pieces after the delivery man launched it over our back gate when we weren't home to sign for it. Nice one dick heads.

I'm sure we definitely did it too. There was one section where there was a gap, and I remember being particularly outraged because Delap didn't take the throw where the ball went out and they ended up scoring. I could have dreamt that I suppose but it seems so clear to me.

Coolio and Glacias! What's the occasion? 3 mates all turn 30 within the space of 2 weeks. One of the lads suggested it and about 20 or so have confirmed so far. Only 3 nights there as we'll be leaving 2 small kids at home with the granny. Not booked a hotel yet, the lads are talking about Planet Hollywood, I think I'll go with New York or something on the strip though. I stayed in Planet Hollywood a couple years ago on a stag do. If there's a big group going you may be able to get a discount - Whoever organised it for our lot managed to sort us a good deal. Worth it for the fanny that sit around the pool on the 6th floor to be honest.

He's definitely turned into a bit of a weapon. When he first burst onto the scene I really liked him. Clearly a boy grateful just to be there, enjoying life like anyone in his shoes would do. Then he got a title under his belt and has taken everything for granted ever since imo. He has a job literally the envy of millions and all he seems to do is moan and whinge.

I did the Foundation a few weeks ago and will be doing the Practitioner very soon. Really wish I'd done it all in one go but couldn't get away from the office for a whole week. As long as you do your pre-reading and read over your notes in the evening I don't really see how you can fail. The actual exam has 75 questions by the way, but 5 of those questions aren't marked (they don't tell you which). They just put them in as trial questions to see how people fair with them to potentially include them as real questions in future exams.

Certainly won't be scoring any time soon....
