Agreed, I've got the first album, Shawn Smith's vocals on that are excellent, I bought a couple of his previous albums on the back of it, he was in bands Pidgeon head and Satchel, both were good. 131710[/snapback] I've just got hold of the first album properly again, having had it on a dodgy cassette for years. The Virgin Suicides. Not a patch on the book - it's atmospheric enough and captures the mood of the time well, but inevitably couldn't go into anywhere near as much depth on the characters, which is what the whole story lives and dies on really.
