1. Did you ask what her normal rates are?
2. Can you take Sophie with you?
3. Dammit, this is karma! Let me enjoy my moment in the sun!
4. Just fishing! :icon_lol: If Stevie replies he smells of wee. IDST.
5. "He" would have to remember he posted to this place among dozens of other boards first: Clicky Howay man, get with it.
6. Downloaded it on the back of that recommendation alone. 'sniiiiiice.
7. Where were you when I was selling the promo CD of that on eBay? Some fucker got it from me for a pittance. Bah.
8. You just know that the guy measures his own impression of his popularity by the number of complaint letters they get about him, too, on the basis that he must be doing something right...

Agreed, I've got the first album, Shawn Smith's vocals on that are excellent, I bought a couple of his previous albums on the back of it, he was in bands Pidgeon head and Satchel, both were good. 131710 I've just got hold of the first album properly again, having had it on a dodgy cassette for years. Just in time for the spring sunshine.

Brad, with Stone Gossard from PJ on guitar, were/are really cool.

Ooh, didn't know they were back. I've liked a lot of their more recent stuff, though I realise that probably puts me in a minority of one.
12. It's not "Hoppípolla", the one used in the (trailers for?) that Planet Earth series, is it? That one came out as a single last year and snuck into the top 40, and now it's gradually making its way back up the lower reaches of the charts, presumably on the back of BBC-inspired downloads alone... Anyway, either way, it's a good excuse to crank it up: Sigur Rós - Hoppípolla
13. Keith Caputo - Died Laughing Sadly ignored, if borderline hippy-dippy, solo album from the cheerful Life Of Agony frontman. Melikes.
14. had better watch where he puts that tongue
15. I've only been here 5 years (coolgen developer), but they sent me a list of all the gifts I'm due on my anniversaries. What a way to improve staff morale...
16. The Virgin Suicides. Not a patch on the book - it's atmospheric enough and captures the mood of the time well, but inevitably couldn't go into anywhere near as much depth on the characters, which is what the whole story lives and dies on really.
17. Do you think you could 'cure' her? 130940 He'd show her his straight edge and it'd be wham, bam, thank you curiously masculine ma'am.
18. Oh aye, I forgot about Owen. He's the only thing that'll get my fella to watch a game. 130620 Your bloke doesn't like football?! Is he some sort of hom?? 130621 He likes footballers, that's got to be worth something? 130623 I'd give you one.....I think. 130625 130871 It's so thinly veiled these days it makes you cringe. The lad just needs to accept it. 130876 If it makes you cringe, you're not doing it right.
19. Turns out Lewisham Library has a well-populated Lesbian & Gay section. That's me sorted with dodgy literature for a wee while.
20. He's going to poke your eyes out with a stick, Cath! Run!
