Obviously it's worth noting that a lot of "alcohol-free" beers still have up to 0.5% alcohol in them, so if that's an issue for you then you might want to avoid them. If you like wheat beer then this one's a reasonable effort that's actually 0%. Needs to be served properly cold though, or you might actually taste it.

Alcohol-free beer, presumably. Which I've found quite useful too, not so much for its qualities as a drink (some brands are fine, some are very bad), but for those times when you're used to having a bottle of something or other in your hand (football, BBQs, parent-teacher evenings, etc.) Ex-smokers will probably know the deal, I imagine.

Aye, being in town this weekend in and around the match was actually the hardest it's been for me since I gave up, the whole culture is naturally geared towards having a drink or three (so it's not a bad time to have given up a season ticket!). Pubs are tons better than they used to be at having soft drinks that aren't just Diet Coke or lemonade, though, which definitely helps. Saying that, it tends to correlate with whether they have beers that aren't just Carling or Fosters, so if the latter is the kind of place you're drinking then you'd better get used to watery "cola" from a soda gun.
