  1. De Jong is a reckless footballer no doubt about that, could not believe some of the decisions yesterday.

I really enjoyed the Whitsunday Islands when I was in OZ, as has been said going to the Barrier Reef out of Airlie Beach is a good choice as the reef is in good condition unlike Cairns were there has been a lot of damage over the years, I also really enjoyed Fraser island. I visited Perth, Broome & Monkey Mia in WA which is where the wild dolphins come into shore about knee deep and you can stroke them, it's only the females and there young that do this as the males are quite territorial and can be aggressive. Sydney is a great city, I visited at the start of my trip and at the end at it really grew on me, it was a long time ago that I travelled around Australia and I enjoyed it but I would not be in a hurry to go back.
  3. If we did get Given back (and its a big if) Krul would have every right to say bollocks to it and look for another club.
  4. Paul Pena - Gonna Move Brilliant track!!
  5. Geordie Jeans then yeh, whatever happened to dogs diets that stopped that! and ‘trendies’ always wearing white socks and the bouncers would never let them in with them on. I got my dog a marrow bone from the butchers, his shit was white for 3 days afterwards!!

  8. Honest to god I think you're Alan Shearer. I'm psychic, I really am, not fucking about I am psychic. I think you're Alan Shearer. Written like an ex pro too. Certainly not an ex pro!! just fookin hate knee jerk reactions!! Not every player hits the ground running, it's like all this talk about Carrol for England totally premature, if he is still banging in the goals and proving a real handful to the opposition defenders in the new year then yes but after 2 games in the top flight!!!
  9. Bellamy would of been absolutely perfect alongside Carrol, not a fan of Bellamy as a person but no one can doubt his ability. There must be a rapid frontman that plays on the last defenders shoulder that would fit the bill?
  10. Great result!! Fantastic for the teams confidence they now know they can beat a top 6 side from last season, still a hell of a long way to go and with the thin squad that we have, luck will play a major part this season. Perch did well yesterday, it does amuse me when people write players off after a handful of performances!! especially when they have never played at this level, give them a chance!!
  11. On last nights showing Bellamy would be absolutely ideal alongside Carrol.
  12. In his pomp he was one of the best players to ever have played in the premiership.
  13. Skin of the teeth job! But it all depends on who we sign in the next few weeks.
  14. Who's excited??? just something I read on the net yesterday. Seems he is likely to go to West Ham anyway.
  15. England under-21 starlet Dan Gosling has walked out of Everton for nothing - after the Premier League ruled he was free to quit over an amazing administrative mistake. Gosling argued that he could leave at the end of his contract without any fee on his head because the Goodison outfit had failed to put an offer in writing to him. And the Premier League carried out a full inquiry, with statements from both Gosling's camp and Everton, before deciding the Merseyside club had slipped up - with the player allowed to go on a free transfer. Everton wanted Gosling to sign a new deal, with chairman Bill Kenwright making verbal offers but failing to put that in writing by the mid-May cut-off point. Now David Moyes's club will miss out on a fee. They could have made around £4million at a tribunal if Gosling joins a rival Premier League club. Versatile Gosling was in and out of Moyes's team over the past two seasons, with his personal highlight being the FA Cup replay winner over Liverpool. He had also been stalling on a new deal for football reasons as he wants to play more often. Gosling is recovering from knee ligament surgery and will not be able to play for around three months. However he is now clear to speak to any club and negotiate his own terms. Sunderland and Newcastle United are heading the chase, with West Ham also alerted about his availability. Gosling told the Premoer League tribunal that he has not spoken to any other team, but now he will be heading for a round of talks. The result is a bitter blow for cash-conscious Everton who will be bitter about the outcome. Senior officials all put their case to the inquiry but one basic mistake has cost them a fortune.
  16. Beardsley for me, loved Shearer for the great goals he scored and Ginola for his fantastic skills.
  17. I was at Eden about 3 weeks ago and it was very quiet - it was a sunny day and they reckoned all the grockles were on the beach.......... Grockles in Devon Emmet's in Cornwall
  18. Yes I am very near the Donkey Sanctuary, my other halves family work there. Newquay should be avoided we always go to Polzeath which is very good for surfing and Perranprth which has a great OZ style beach bar. http://www.the-wateringhole.co.uk/webcam.htm I still prefer North Devon!
  19. Tiverton!! they all look too similar, me brothers me dad!! Exeter is OK, misses the mark as a city, Exmouth is not as bad as it used to be with the squaddies, infact its a good night out. Sidmouth where I live is an aged town with many retired folk, the villages of Branscombe and Beer are near by and are fabulous. I have lived in Devon for many years now and I love it the countryside is cracking and its as safe as anywhere in the UK nowadays.
