  1. Just googled south hams and this picture keeps coming up. Can you say where it is? Also any reccomendations for nice port towns in Devon. Something along the Weymouth lines perhaps. Thats Blackpool sands!! Salcombe and Dartmouth are good if you like ports/yachting.
  2. I much prefer Devon! the beaches in Cornwall are good but the countryside is no where near as nice as Devon. The surfing in North Devon is good at places like Croyde (gets very busy) and Saunton Sands (great beach) East Devon (where I live) is very beautiful with rolling hills and woodland, and the South Hams are stunning Blackpool beach reminds me of Greece and Salcombe, Dartmouth are great for yachting etc. The weather has been awful for the last 3 summers, hopefully we will have a decent summer this year!!!
  3. Ferdinand has been poor this season, mainly due to injuries I think Dawson should of been in the final 23 so if it is him to replace Ferdinand all well and good but if it's Upson that's a different story!!
  4. We are going to Olu Deniz Turkey for 2 weeks in late July, never been to Turkey before but from what I have read on Tripadvisor it should be great. (hopefully)
  5. Messi and Ronaldo are far better for their club sides than their national sides. I think this world cup has some genuine world class players Rooney being one of them, having said that the true greats do the business at the World cups so we will have to wait and see which one grabs the tournament by the short and curlies!
  6. I voted Lib/Dem living in the Devon East constituency it is a nailed on Tory seat.
  7. http://www.britishpathe.com/results.php?se...ewcastle+United I don't know if this has been added before but I was looking at this site yesterday and there is some great old footage of Newcastle United
  8. If we finish as high as Birmingham have this season then that will be a very successful return to the PL IMO.
  9. "It's a bit too commercial for me, did go there from where we were staying to paraglide off the mountain though." \Thats what worries me, We usually go to Greece, but my other half fancies a change so we are off to Turkey. I almost feel like I am being unfaithful!!! having lived in Greece and visiting friends twice a year.
  10. Hi All We have just booked our summer holidays to Olu Deniz in Turkey, was just wondering if any of you have been there and what did you think of it?

  18. They aren't to him though, are they? He couldn't give a fuck about us man. You are right its as if he has done everything possible to alienate himself from the people of Newcastle, Keegan, Shearer, Waiting for Kinnear, relegation, Dennis Wise, Takeover saga and now the potential renaming of an icon in the city!!!! you couldn't make it up the man at the very best is clueless.
  19. Six years ago we as a family scattered my fathers ashes in St. James' Park, it would sicken me to the stomach if the place that he held so dear was re-named after some budget airline or chavy sports company. Leave well alone Mr. Ashley some things are bigger than profit making deals!
  20. http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/song/Harry_Hippe/15689143 Great song!
