Beardsley and Shearer. -
Get You Rules for life: A: Never trust anyone with a moustache B: Never trust an estate agent C: Certainly never trust a man that puts lime in his beer!! :D Personally I love a really good pint of Real Ale (Jail Ale, Exmoor Stag being 2 of my favourites) and as has been pointed out a Gin and tonic with plenty of ice and 2 slices of lime takes some beating.

I don't blame Given for moving on, how many false dawns has he seen?!! and stuck around hoping it would get better.

A very good 3 points, we need a good festive period to get us up the table. Looking longer term we need to be safe so that any future buyer will find us more attractive. -
I feel exactly the same top post.

We got back from holiday in Greece last week fantastic weather 17 days of sunshine! just can't cope with the weather in the UK we spent the last few nights thinking of ways to make a living in Greece use to have a share in a bar over there and I don't know if I fancy being out till 4 -5 am every morning anymore.

Good result, we would of lost this at the beginning of last season.

I have no time for drug cheats, it will be interesting to see all the Chinese medal winners at this years Olympics none of whom we have heard of before! Home advantage can only stretch so far or am I being a tad cynical?
-
A pity he is going to Chelsea (if true) but it will be great watching a truly class player week in week out in the premiership.

Crazy is a little strong! A tad mad would be more precise!

I like Arcade Fire. Coldplay are for the masses

Great stuff! Shearer has his critics on here as far as punditry goes but we should never forget what a great footballer he was. It is criminal that we didn't win anything with him in the team.

Orlando Engelaar certainly has a presence in the midfield, not the most fluid footballer I have seen but he keeps it simple and covers the ground and he must be 6'4" so he wins his share of headers. Snejlder and VDV were fantastic and the pass to RVN who then missed the chance was pure class. One other palyer that I rate is Kuyt this guy gives you everything every time he walks onto the pitch.

I will be supporting Greece (Used to live there) a team that hasn't been mentioned is Russia, with the nucleus of the Zenit St Petersburg team, I think they will go far. It will probably be one of the usual suspects but I will be putting a few bob on Russia.

You are so right out of all the players we have been linked with Arshavin looks pure class. He would fit into and hold down a place in ay of the big 4's teams, I think he is banned for the first 2 games in the Euros but if Russai can make it through I can see Arshavin inspiring them to the latter stages of the competition.

I have been with Eclipse ever since I started my own business in Nov 2003 they have been very good apart from a dodgy period 18 months ago around new year time. They have won quite a few awards for their service.
