I have no evidence either way, but it wouldn't be a surprise. There are loads of NUFc contracts with heavy appearance incentives. Ba's contract was effectively a 100% of his weekly wage bonus for every game he played. Ashley believea goal bonuses give players an incentive to act in their own interest rather than the team's interest. It does seem madness that he has gone from one of the first names on the team sheet to not even making the bench. It must be a sizeable bonus or wage rise to come close to justifying such a stance.

Happens all the time, all over the Premiership. Anyone who believes that he has been completely frozen out of the team for footballing reasons needs to watch less crown bowls.

Remy I was fairly happy about because I thought he was a good player. I don't really rate Gomis.

Tactics were spot on yesterday IMHO. Being "more positive" from the off would have seen us taken apart. Arsenal would have been out of sight by half time. As it was, we contained each other in a game of few chances. It could have gone either way. Tactically, it was one of the most interesting midfield battles I've seen in a while.

To be fair, they're going off "spectators" who saw him leaving the ground in a hurry, and they've made a story out of it. I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave, but I don't think he cares enough to flounce off.
