I think having just missed the Euros gives us a chance of keeping him. He's got very little to lose by putting in a year in the Championship since the next International tournament is two years away. It'll also magnify how good he is. That said, he could eliminate the risk entirely by moving on.

Not gonna miss him but generally agree that he's been a decent servant of the club. He could have been a good player without the injuries. I remember that period in the 5th place finish season where he and Colo were invincible for a period of about 8 weeks at the start of the season.
