  1. You are absolutely correct IMO. Regularly booked in the first, and as you say, hugely limited in the second half as a result. These days he can also add 'frequently caught in possession' to his list of attributes.
  2. Haha I love how the 'end violence against women' placard is used to inflict violence. Nice bit of hypocrisy Staged I presume?
  3. Blatter has now come out and said that they chose Russia before the ballot surely that has to be it for him now. Surely.
  4. Fellas, did you guys not see Gemmill's heart felt plea earlier on? Poor guy's gonna be crying himself to sleep at this rate...
  5. Good, maybe that'll start to shut people up a bit. Would have been a stronger point if we hadn't lost 6-1 to them though...
  6. You're like fucking Kissinger on here, mind
  7. Might go re-read that Saudi thread, I've clearly missed some handbags here.
  8. If most people voting haven't got a clearly formed opinion prior to two weeks before the vote, we're going to make a fucking stupid collective decision. Personally I think we're going to vote out because too many people fail to understand what Europe actually gives to us.
  9. Ah ok...still though. You get the feeling that Arsenal's strength in depth is not entirely unlike our own.
  10. I mean, it's not a full strength Arsenal team but they still have Giroud, Cech, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Flamini and Ox
  11. Sheff Wed reserves claiming another scalp today by the looks
  12. Remember the Man Utd game? We defended well there... they've got it in them somewhere.
  13. Just building on that, would anyone rather we won 1-0 at the weekend but played Pardew era rubbish? Or as we did, but lost 3-0?
  14. So...does the overturning of the suspension mean that it wasn't a foul...? And that therefore ewerk was wrong? EDIT - presumably it actually means that it was a foul but not a sending off
  15. Merkel has had a fucking good run, mind. Most competent politician we've had in Europe for some time...

All the best mate, its hard to imagine what it's like to live through things like this.
  17. de Jong could perhaps take over from Perez when we sell him to Spurs.
  18. Is it worth buying the XBone for?
  19. Don't know how many people feel hard done by... I'm satisfied that we have a comfortably superior team to Sunderland and that this was evident. The red card was what it was, but there's no way they could have gotten anything form the game without it, so I'd say the bigger worries are with them. Onwards an upwards for us though mate - we'll have a shit season very likely but we're not going to be in the same level of shit as they are. Keep your chin up
  20. At this point he's either shite or his confidence has taken a serious knock. Could well be the latter but I don't know if he has the mental fortitude to do anything about it so in the long run it may not matter.
  21. Pardew culpable for that really. McClaren was unfortunate today - we played better than they did for more or less the whole game.
  22. Colback handled outside the box actually. Free kick at worst
  23. I wouldn't sweat it lads, no point was proven here really. Sunderland are still dire, we'll probably stuff them at SJP, this was disappointing but I don't think it's a season defining moment for either team. Sunderland will wake up tomorrow still being a side that can't string two passes together and whose principal tactic involves ceding 65% of the possession to the opposition - Allardyce will become loathed, as he does everywhere, for this fact alone. I doubt he'll last the season. Sunderland fans will bleat on about it but who really gives a shit? Would you swap our club, team, city for theirs? Like fuck would you. At the end of the day, it's just a shame we couldn't pick up an easy three points against the worst team in the division. Colo to blame for that one.
  24. Ah it's ok, Clattermole has injured him anyway. Fucks sake...
