  1. Well done! How much do you dislike your manager? If a lot, then yes, if not much, delay send for Monday imo.
  2. "Question, how can we make this country even worse?" "I've got it, let's import tens of thousands of white South Africans!" How the fuck can they implement this without being overtly and explicitly racist?
  3. Fucking hell. I worked there illegally as a kid when I was at University for a few months. Loads of us did, from the UK and Ireland. Just rocked up to the Boardwalk in Wildwood NJ and got a job for 3 months at minimum wage (which was relatively quite a lot in 1992). My job was selling Land Hermit Crabs as pets to gullible yanks and Canadians (there were loads of Canadians). There was a whole community of us, getting lashed every night. Great times. At the end of the summer, spent a couple of weeks in the Caribbean on the proceeds and back to Uni with a bit of cash left over. Can't imagine that happens now like. I wouldn't go to the US if you paid me (okay, I would if you paid me enough). They've ruined their country.
  4. Am I the only one who can't see your images?

    Nevertheless, we have a winner!

So did I! Feeding in that prompt. Fucking shite, I like the hybrid high level-Tyne bridge though.

At least mine got the right city region and kept Dan's feet dry.

Nacht, tried, couldn't get an image to pass my quality control. It couldn't get either Blyth or Burn remotely correct, sorry.
  9. That gives me a marketing idea......
  10. It's another straw the mackems have been clutching at, trying to mock us. Nobody seriously wants a statue ffs. I mean, who the fuck would erect a statue for a manager after a single cup win?
  11. I think because of the almost literal lifetime of waiting for this event it was inevitably very emotional. I would probably have been watching this with my Dad and maybe sister present if they were still here. If I'm honest the empty settee seats at mine were another reason I couldn't face the match on TV, especially as it is very close to their anniversaries (my sister had the good grace to ruin St Patrick's day forever!). That said, the success makes me feel I can genuinely move on from this in the future at least where football's concerned. Here's to all those who couldn't be here.
  12. I'm a visual person. Couldn't resist.
  13. That'll explain the puzzled zoologists the next day. "Dr Smith, come and see this, we appear to have a new species of Brown Trout living in the fountains of Trafalgar Square. This is amazing, how did it get here?"
  14. I'm a fairly regular match goer and not once seen a fan in a tea towel etc. It must have happened very occasionally because there are photos, but its definitely not a remotely common thing (must be <0.01%). Also I'd say there's not been a greater feeling of local pride since the Keegan days. If this is what Sports washing is, I'm not losing any sleep over it.
  15. *Shudders* Is that lass who looks like she is about to do that Sunderland defecation thing actually pregnant? Fucking hell. I haven't seen any bad behaviour from our lot this time round. I'm not on much social media but I do follow the SMB for a mood lifter and sure as hell they would have posted something if there was.
  16. Player ratings (out of 10): Nick Pope: 10 Kieran Trippier: 11 Fabian Schär: 10 Dan Burn: 12 Tino Livramento: 11 Sandro Tonali: 12 Bruno Guimarães: 10 Joelinton: 12 Jacob Murphy: 10 Harvey Barnes: 10 Alexander Isak: 11
  17. Fucking hell. I take it back about looking like a sixth form cafeteria. Looks more like a primary school dinners hall from the inside.
  18. I was wondering what margin it would take me to relax. I think maybe 4 goals? After all we were 3 goals the better against Forest and nearly blew it.
  19. Aye, I will definitely be more relaxed. The league would match this imo.
  20. It's standard American fare. I love the odd burger personally. Used to be expensive but not now as everything else has gone up relatively more, so was okay value. I also kind of collected HRCs, been to 20 or so around the World. Anyway, its a shame imo.
  21. Really? That's a shame, my kids liked it. Was always very busy when we went.
  22. Had a new portrait taken.
  23. But just like when Gemmill rewatches Titanic for the 600th time, you'll still cry at the ending.
