  1. Plenty of funding to investigate and arrest people for wearing yellow T shirts, preventing police rapists and murderers, not so much.
  2. May I just say you can stick your coronation up your arse, not my king and go fuck yourself, and I hope it pisses down on each and everyone of your street parties you pathetic forelock tugging wankers. As if it wasn't bad enough the tories are stealing hundreds of millions of pounds for this pathetic charade, they are using it as another excuse to impose their authoritarianism on us, now effectively arresting us for our clothing and for thought crimes. This country is turning to shit in front of our eyes, we've got more in common with Russia than we may care to admit.
  3. But that's the point, it will be a pincer movement annihilating the tories. Only Labour will benefit from the SNP's fall in Scotland, its fanciful to think Labour won't achieve a large majority as the author from that thread says. If the tories go below 200 seats ( I think they'll go lower personally), the main beneficiaries will be Labour, mopping up Scotland, Northern England, the Midlands, and London.
  4. That's not the point being made though is it? It's not Starmers shift right that's the LDs/Greens are benefitting from, it's the ubiquity of the hatred for the tories. I'd love a coalition but can't see anything but a 97 level majority for Labour, with LDs picking up a few seats. There's nothing the tories can do to stop this now imo, cos everything is getting increasingly shit.
  5. I don't think you can take anything from these elections, another reason I'm not arsed. Lib Dems aren't going to get 20% in a GE, and Green and independents also fair much worse because of our wonderful FTP and tactical voting (voting Labour whilst biting your lip). It's Labour's best showing in local elections for quarter of a century, regardless.
  6. Too right. You want some?
  7. (Local) conservative (cunt) won by 20 seats. Easy to see hoe a leaflet like this could do this. Mofo
  8. Why can't you? There's nothing to say you can't. They've done it twice (making 3 PMs) and people just shrug. Four PMs in 4 years man. Five in 7 years. Ridiculous the amount of wall paper we're going through.
  9. 100% agree. Really feels like there would never be a better opportunity for electoral reform, there might never even be another opportunity, full stop. And yeah, there are loads of other issues. But the one we can affect almost all derive from our broken democracy. That's why aI just think Starmer is an absolute shit show of a coward. Still voting for him, obvs.
  10. I'm guessing no, surely? At the minute Sunak is probably their biggest strength - appears semi-competent, isn't Johnson or Truss.
  11. That's true which just underlines the futility of it all. Sorry, I've just no passion at all for Labour under Starmer. I can't wait though for the tories to properly get their arsed handed to them on a plate but as you say this is some time away regardless.
  12. I really, really want us to beat Arsenal but a draw certainly isn't a disaster (for us, it is to them if they have any lingering hopes).
  13. Well that sounds like a demotion to me. Bad luck Isegrim.
  14. Honestly, struggling to get even interested in this. The worse the tories do, the more they will put off the GE and the more the country is fucked. One thing I did like I think was a green leaflet where they had a simple bar chart showing the proportion of votes each candidate got in the last election, and who you should vote for tactically if you want shot of the tories. Completely within the rules, I hope this is widely adopted in the GE whenever that is and thepincer movement splits the tories in half.
  15. There are already areas of the UK (primarily Northern England strangely enough with worse GDP per capita than Eastern Europe. It's only London keeping us up. You'll soon be seeing Auf Wiedersehen Pet in action Isegrim. Gis a job.
  16. Look, I struggle with the mackem accent, having not been brought up in their vicinity like you.
  17. Hey man, a can prurve weeyaz invented turtal football man, not Holland like. Seeyah that Aye Acks clerb man, thems knicked it from wors in the 70s, along with the red n white strip they weraz like, that was ours n'arl. Lik Bilbao marra, urnly bigger stripes likke. Anyway, wat de ye get if yurs mix red and white payaint marra? Aye, orange, like the dutch wears marra. Wat, it maykes pink? They stole that n'arl from wus seayats marra. FTM.
  18. I swear to God the mackem's are mental. They have a whole thread on who is better, "Mogga" or "Big Sam" (I digress, but remember the fewm it caused the mackems when we referred to Rafa Benitez by his first name? Anyway....). I mean although he doesn't inspiure me a bit, it does strike me as If Tony Mowbray is a modest, honest kind of guy and I quite like him. Allerdyce on the other hand is simply grotesque, physically and personality wise, and beyonf deluded. But they still fucking LOVE him on that board and are mourning he left them. Here's an example. No, you're right Hank. It would have happened under Sam Allerdyce instead.
  19. Yep, for those who haven't voted yet, remember your photo ID which may consist of: A blue passport An OAP bus pass A copy of the Daily Mail
  20. I mean there is self promotion, and then there is mental illness. Some fucking "football expert" from the Athletic (I think) has just talked to Adrian Chiles on R5 and listed some clubs Allerdyce saved from relagation and included us in the list! Apparently West Brom doesn't count either because of covid as well, must have hit the Black Country harder than the rest for some reason. Football in this country is almost as mental as its politics sometimes.
  21. Blatant attempt to suck up to the poster here. I always enjoyed Lua Lua's ridiculous flips nearly as much as the goals. Ketsbaia ftw though. I've never seen anything or anyone take a lacing as bad as those poor hoardings that day. Took his shirt off and it was "RGHT, LET'S BE HAVING YOU YOU CUNT"
  22. Sorry, I'm not having that. That Stone Roses album though, my God what a revelation that was to me. I remember someone gave it to me as a casette tape which I played in my g/f's car (wife now) as we drove from Liverpool back home. It caught the zeitgest perfectly, felt like a new era after this.
  23. Jethro Tull was one talented bastard. Author of the agricultural revolution and talented folk musician, and now the inspiration behind Hotel Califronia apparently.
  24. That's fair enough. Too subjective probably. Mine would be Lua Lua's 90th minute winner against Derby at Pride park 2002, to make it 2-3. Even though I burst an ear drum celebrating.
