We should have a thread for that sort of thing

I think they were both to blame a bit. Agree about sticking with Darlow though

I just got mine on the day I think but it was a canny while back so I might have had to order in advance. Anyway, is it Northumbria? If so: http://ask4help.northumbria.ac.uk/faq/136142
-
I was sat near Hayden and he's still walking on crutches btw which makes the initial claims about 4 weeks out seem a bit hopeful.
-
Don't you just hire them on the day?
-
I don't think Darlow shouting for it gets him off the hook automatically like, he didn't need to come charging off his line like that which put Dummett under pressure.
-
That would be just awful, wouldn't it? The money he's on there is fucking potty like. He wasn't worth that (even taking into account the cost of replacing him) when he signed the contract, let alone now.
-
It's a canny achievement mind for someone who's not an out and out goalscorer, to get as many as he has. He's a neuf et demi [/hipster wanker]
-
Thought Bruce Willis was great in Moonlight, mind. Didn't even get a nomination.
-
FWIW, I don't think he will whatever happens but he's the only one still playing who is relatively close to it and who could do it.
-
I think he might go back to Everton.
-
Aye, I knew that re: the latter anyway. Great film (as is Vertigo)
-
Rooney could still eclipse Shearer's PL record but that seems a lot less likely now than it did a few seasons back. He's still 65 behind.
-
Quite interesting when you look at it historically and see some of the films that didn't win (and in lots of cases weren't even nominated). Citizen Kane didn't even win best picture.

Thought exhuming Warren Beaty was a nice touch
-
Sorry to hear about your troubles, HMHM. It's an absolute fucking disgrace.

I thought Mitrovic was Shola-esque on Saturday. Particularly when you couldn't slide a Football Pink under his feet when he was competing for headers and when he was kidding himself he was closing defenders down.
-
I compared it to both the leaders of the main parties in England rather than just Corbyn. Edit: Also, if the latter were more effective as a leader then he'd have more supporters and people voting for him too. So, just comparing percentages of SNP and Labour voters isn't really as comprehensive as you seem to think
-
Scotland's a good example in terms of the difference a leader can make. Up there you had someone the people (for want of a better phrase) trusted who was pro-Remain whereas neither Labour or the Tories had an equivalent in England. If they had things would've been different and it shows it was far from inevitable. It's not like Scotland's that different from parts of England in terms of being anti-Tory or the social issues it faces.

I know he's been a big player for Chelsea but there's loads of other things at play there too. I think Kante's made a difference to both teams but you're probably only talking about a couple of league places at Leicester anyway (all other things being equal). It's hard to quantify but you can't just say look at Leicester, look at Chelsea therefore he's the main difference. Well you can, but you'd be wrong -

He's not the single difference between winning the league and being in a relegation fight though. -
Given your massive oversimplification of the voting deomgraphic that's a bit rich
-
Corbyn takes some of the blame for Brexit too, he could've swayed a close vote with a bit more enthusiasm because, while he's inneffective in terms of being an opposition leader his support amongst young people could've made a difference but he fucked over his party and the country there too.
