If it's just as difficult as opening why did say batting at 3 would see his average rise to around 50? Literally contradicting yourself in the space of two posts

Surprised Louis Theroux hasn't done something about that fat bloke. So, anywhere in Northern Europe then

The religious aspect would spoil it for me

Tbh, I find it pretty plausible. I've just no recollection of you mentioning any monastic activties before and it's the sort of thing I think I'd remember.

Did this really happen or did you just watch The Name of the Rose last night?

Can't say I've given it a great deal of thought

I remember hearing about people camping out overnight in Jemsond Dene to play role play games round the fire. Can't even begin to get my head around it tbh

He is/was a canny lad. Dead intense when he gets onto a subject he's into but totally harmless at the same time. Also, if that carry on with Chez's mate is the worst thing he ever did when he was pissed then I don't think he's got much to worry about. Think it's a shame he was basically bullied off here because of it.

The metallers all loved all that shit. I bet Papa Lazaru was/is well into it actually.

First one I read was The Citadel of Chaos (I think). They were by Steve Jackson and another bloke. Everyone used to cheat in the fights iirc.

Is it like Top Trumps?

Aye, I'd never been one for shop-lifting anyway but they used to nick £20-£30 worth of stuff just about every Saturday. Which was a canny bit of money back then. It seemed fucking bizarre to me. I used to like a bit of Tolkien and C.S. Lewis but that was about it. Actually used to like those Fighting Fantasy role playing books in retrospect, which is a bit like D&D / War Hammer for people with no friends

Never heard of it. Thank fuck
