Think that's one of the reasons why the vote went the way it did. The political establishment found it convenient to blame stuff on Brussels for years. Then when they tried to tell people leaving would be a disaster it's not surprising a lot of people didn't buy it.

The Habour View chippy always reminds me of one time I was in there after taking a microdot. Took my chips down to the little pier afterwards and thought I was on the quarterdeck of a destroyer. Nice chips as well.

Reminds me of when Ali G is arguing with the bloke from the BBFC that 'vagina' is more offensive than 'cunt' because you could say to a lass 'you have a nice cunt' but using the word 'vagina' in the same context would sound horrible

Well it makes considerably more sense to petition your own government to not fight in a war. It might not work but at least you have the power to vote against them etc. As an aside Russia should be judged (harshly) by the way it treats its own citizens.
