  1. If you want https://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.djdeals.co.uk/546f44330000640002b5e47b
  2. Fair comment to those concerned I guess. No disrespect intended to anyone who goes (especially those who go to loads of away games). The latter doesn't really apply to most though.
  3. Just won a pair of Pioneer HDJ 1500 headphones for posting a review on a site in November. Nice
  4. Excellent that like. Knew quite a lot of the stuff before but had never seen it brought together in such a coherent way before. Would agree with HMHM's take on it too like. Not really one to warm the cockles of your heart.
  5. Yeah, definitely. The Keegan appointment and the patter he gave KK at the time about having plenty money to spend backs that up.
  6. Can't really understand getting a ST in most circumstances any more. Go on a game by game basis if you still want to go and at least retain some power. Giving Ashley a load of money upfront is fucking mental. Unless you think he's a football genius ©
  7. Aye but I suppose that was only possible because no benevolent MASSIVE Rangers fans from overseas was willing to help out first.
  8. If they were players no one else wanted then it's excellent scouting on Carr's part then, isn't it?
  9. One thing that is apparent is that whilst Rangers fans often like to go on about their massive world wide support no one seems to care enough to match Ashley's £10m loan.
  10. So signing them suggests good contacts and excellent groundwork then. If not, why didn't someone beat us to their signature? And you questioned which we'd reaped the benefit of, which is what I was replying to. I appreciate directly responding to what people have written as opposed to what you'd like them to have written doesn't fit your style but that's your problem tbh.
  11. Cabaye, Sissoko, Tiote, Debuchy off the top of my head. Not just about spotting the players either. It's about convincing them to come and part of that is putting in the groundwork which demonstrates that you value them as a player. As opposed to just trying to buy them because they're available and you liked a youtube compilation with an electro house soundtrack.
  12. I said he has good contacts (he has). I didn't say all his recommendations had paid off. He's working within tight constraints though so that's inevitable. Ironic that you're accusing people of being contrary when all you've done is put words into other people's mouths because you can't counter their arguments.
  13. Who's saying it's the right thing to do?
  14. Because Carver keeping us up this season, when he already has plenty points on the board and a massive head start on the teams in the drop zone is completely different to him starting from scratch for a full season. Unbelievable that needs explaining to be honest. Even to you
  15. Carr having good contacts and the PL being attractive to foreign coaches. I think it's possible (probable even) we'll get someone with a decent rep, willing to work within the constraints and who'll (obviously) see us as a stepping stone to bigger and better things. Hardly outlandish given it's happened with a couple of top class players we've had recently.
  16. Your analogy doesn't work for the reasons I've already given.
  17. One thing I do know is that Carr has loads of contacts on the continent, especially in France and Holland so it's not inconceivable he's sounded a few people out and working in the Premiership is a step up from nearly all the clubs in both those countries.
  18. I think, from a staying up point of view, playing attractive football is a positive, because as little as two home wins (all other things being equal) should keep us up.
  19. I don't know enough about finance (i.e. anything) to know but I wondered if it was a means to get control of Rangers. I.e. the SFA currently say he can't buy any more shares but maybe he reasons Scottish football needs Rangers (from a TV revenue, etc. point of view) so he could threaten to send them out of business if the SFA doesn't acquiesce next time he tries to buy more shares.
  20. As much as I dislike him and his vision for the club I try to look at it from Ashley's point of view. Keeping Carver until the end of the season when relegation is unlikely (we're 8 points clear of the drop zone and most relegated teams average less than a point a game over the course of season) makes sense as it saves money. Appointing Carver full-time come the summer makes no sense at all as it massively jeopardises the club's Premier League status next season, which in turn would cost Ashley a lot of money.
