Oh, I totally agree with you there, mate. I just think he's lost the plot about what a winning side takes. The daft thing is people say he won't chnsge his philosophy but the apparent obsession with pure, aesthetic football is relatively recent as his really successful sides were as much about pace and power (and a nasty edge) as they were about finesse.

I misread the ending time so checked at the adverts as it didn't seem like it was nearly finished. I then realised there was still an hour to go and said I bet it's basically an hour of explosions left. It was. There was fuck all else on like.

Aye, real man of integrity is wor Alan. It was because he used to play for them, he was offered more money, got the chance to move back home and, most crucially, the opportunity arose. -
Got loads of respect for what Wenger has done there but I don't think the club are achieving their potential under him now (and haven't for a while). Of course there's no guarantee the next bloke would do any better but they'd practically have their pick of managers.

I quite like McLaren. Good coach (which is all he would be here anyway) and I like how he was prepared to go abroad after the England job (which came far too early in his career).

I thought the pre-match shit about SBR was bad enough but arguably even worse was his crack at the press conference where he put Pardew on the same level as KK and the aforementioned Robson as NUFC managers. What a horrible fucking lickspittle (and that was what I thought before today's result).
