Daglish had some run of signing stinkers. Wasn’t Stefan Guivarch one of his too?

FFS. I’m left thinking we missed out on a low risk opportunity here. This transfer window has officially fucked me

At least he had a good haircut

Good luck in the ballot, Tone -
Muani is potentially back to Juve for €55m. How can a bloke with one half decent season at wolves behind him be worth more than a French international who has played for PSG and Juve?
-
Downie reckons Jackson is available on a loan with an option. I’d be tempted to go for that at this stage, instead of paying over the odds for Strand Larsen. We can have a look at Jackson over the season then fuck him off back to Chelsea in the summer if he doesn’t do the business and go again on a proper Isak replacement.
-
forgive me @Christmas Tree - I just noticed the thread was long detailed before your post
-
Thanks for the interjection, but wtf does that have to do with Isak?
-
£60m not enough for strand larsen, a man wolves paid £25m for *checks notes* a month ago

this stinks of guehi last summer. they know we're desperate and don't want to sell so why not hike another £5-10m onto the price every time we come back with a new bid. how much of a cunt is their owner compared to parish?
-
surely they'll close on 60m.
-
yeah, i mean i have no idea tbh. but it wouldn't surprise me if it's one or both, or if isak leaves, or stays. i don't think any of us have got a clue tbh
-
if what interim merlin has to say to his 950 followers doesn't convince you, i don't know what will
-
Wow, that’s amazing if true as neither injury looked good and I wasn’t quite ready to believe Mrs Joelinton’s take. That must have been quite the massage

i thought the same about bruno's instagram post after isak's statement. i suspect some of the players might be less sympathetic towards isak's position than others but this could mean they have been told to fall in line and that he is indeed going to be reintegrated.
-
Bruno has said in an interview with ESPN that we miss Isak and need him back. Door being held wide open for reintegration by both manager and captain now
-
i genuinely don't know what you're on about
-
you could start one in an empty room.
-
who are you arguing with?
-
you’re a strange fish, Craig. I know how much you love a pointless argument but I’m not sure what kind of bite you’re hoping to extract. why would I circulate that rumour given he’s a left winger and we’re clearly scrambling to sign a CF or two?
-
so we're definitely keeping isak in your view. let's see. i'm not sure he stays. i'm not sure i want him to either tbh.
-
here's a scenario that could unfold: isak (if he is so set on liverpool for footballing reasons and isn't just a greedy bastard) hands in a transfer request to force the move. we accept £130m due to the money saved from no longer having to pay Isak his loyalty bonus, which is rumoured to be anywhere from £10-15m. We sign wissa and strans larsen for a combined £130m £15m or so leftover in the bank after replacing two strikers. good business? probably good footballing business? i suppose we'll find out
